I'm not entirely sure.
I remember it being part of a conversation back at primary school, and I guess my immature little mind buried it somewhere. Just popped into my head.

I was at a LAN once with some friends and couldn't think of a gaming name to put in because I didn't want "Shaun got killed by so and so" every time. I was reading a manga at the time called Girlfriends where the main character's names are Mari and Akko. So I shoved them together and it kind of just stuck, been using it ever since.
This username is pretty much used for everything online.
I got it from my old Runescape username, "chadachada," which is just my first name, last initial, repeated. When I tried signing up for Xbox Live in middle school, "chadachada" was already taken, so I just added "123" to the end. Might as well, right?
And I now use it for upwards of ten different online sites/accounts, even several different e-mail extensions.

Well, my form username was Fremley (due to me once wrongly saying friendly during an oral presentation at school) and for a account for a game I had to change the password I got:

Well if I had to take a guess: I joined this website back in 2006 so I was about 15 or 16 and thinking I'd be "cool" I named myself "Quiet Stranger" thinking I'd be like a regular poster and someone who's (if not always) talked about whenever some topic or another comes up, like Smashed or that NukeTheWhales guy, you know, the Quiet hooded man in the back corner of a canteen or Saloon that everyone's heard of but no one really know who he is. Christ was I fucking stupid, ah youth, twas wasted on me.

Also, it's meant to be pronounced Ay-a-mar. It took me a while to realise other people may not get that from seeing it written down without an umlaut on the first "a."

Mine is from my old high school garage band...back in our hair metal days when I sported a full on 80's Bon Jovi-ish mane 
I still have my hair (though haven't gone full on Aqua Net in YEARS...) my guitars (both BC Rich, a red crackle Ironbird and a blue Warlock) and will not confirm or deny that any spandex and or leather may still exist.

I used to be into riding unicycles. It's been a few years, though.. I really ought to get back into that. It's a lot of fun.
Oh, and the nines, I dunno. I did the same thing with my Neopets account that I made at age 9, and it just sort of stuck. I've stopped using it, though, just sticking with "onewheeled" whenever I make a new account on some other site. Maybe I'll change my name here to reflect that, since it makes me look like I'm trying to be all "HARDCORE 1337"

It was also the name of my main toon when I played WoW, and how most people know me as. Although most just say "Torr" because they get "Torrasque" wrong >.>
