As the title suggests... what classic element are you, based on your personality? For me... I find it hard, as my personality seems to change depending on the weather... but I'll say Aether, because I'm always generally light-hearted, but since it probably doesn't exist... I could also be air, generally warm and breezy, but I can be very angry and violent...sometimes.... what about you?

Fire, of course. When i don't like something, i REALLY don't like it. Or, if we use more modern therminology, one of the alkali metals or something along that line. Something explodey.

When in the heck is aether?

Thats not even an element. Neither is air. This is not 1584!

I am carbon. I have many forms, and exotic ways to bond.

I'm a... person, I guess. I don't really think a material or compound can really sum up the human personality.

Gotta be Hydrogen. Little but I go off with a BOOM. Also I'm the sole hope for future engineering. Fuck you solar powered cars and biofuels!

Personality is damn near impossible to classify in such simple terms. As far as favorites though, gotta say fire. Warmth and life and yada yada *insert deep symbolism here*

I did say classic element, and aether is the medium that light apparently travels on, though it doesn't exist, as seen by the Michelson-Morley experiment. But if you insist on a real element, I am...carbon also...look at my username!

Water. Because although everything may appear normal on the surface, there are many things lurking beneath (rip-tides, treasure, sharks, volcanic-vents).Also, I tend to be cool and collected.

Periodic elements? Aluminium, mainly because different people have the tendency to pronounce my name differently (and wrongly if I might add). Also, metals are normally cool to the touch, but are good conductors of heat (as in I can get angry if I am put under the right conditions, but can lose my anger quite quickly). Also, it's shiny, and I like shiny things ... except bullets ... but even then only when they are coming from a gun that I am not in control of ... same applies to other metallic projectiles ... like some arrow-heads ... and missiles.

Gold. Not because I'm rare, not because I'm worth anything, it's just I'm unreactive and unresponsive to most stimulus. I sit there for a long time doing nothing.

Ye olde style? Earth - Because I move so little that when I do the whole world notices. I also wear a lot of brown.

Clever-man-style? I've no idea. I like the idea of silver, since I love silver. However, I don't think I've ever purified water or always been in Gold's shadow.

Either potassium or sodium I guess, because without either life wouldn't exist and I think words like hyponatremia and hypokalemia are pretty cool. Plus they're involved in heaps of things in the body like maintaining the resting membrane potential of cells, nerve impulses and cardiac contraction, and sodium is so important in the uptake of glucose and the maintenance of water balance in the body. They're both just awesome elements, yay for Na and K!

Generally water.

I'm really apathetic and fairly gullible, I'm not entirely sure what kind of personality I have since I change it all the time depending on what situation I'm in, like water. Then there's the way I like to move, ever since I started doing Parkour, I've always tried to move "fluidly", following the path of least resistance and all that. I'm really easy to push around, a strong bump in a crowd could send me sprawling.

Buuuut I'm probably just pulling this stuff from thin air, symbolism is a tricky *****.

I am not sure, it would probably be tungsten, helium or hydrogen.
