If in the meet the pyro video valve actually show what's in that suit I'll feel as if an injustice has been served. Actually, the Spy's nationality was never revealed, he just has an accent from a generic European country with a Romantic language, which could make him French, Spanish, Italian, etc...

It was the romantic language, plus the fact that he smokes that lead to the idea that he was French. Then again, the stereotype of French smokers is that they use a straw to smoke with. I'll agree that he isn't any particular nationality, since he can change into any of the classes.
