I recently got into COD6. The single player is kinda crappy, they killed the realism COD4 had. But the multiplayer is so damn fun.
Better then COD4? Yeah. 60$ better? Hell no. I borrowed it from a friend. I think I'm gonna play through FarCry2 again after, damn that game was fun.
Oh, and I'm gonna start Supreme Commander 2 pretty soon, but I haven't played it yet so I can't come to any judgement.

If you are looking for some good games to buy, which I assume you are; F.E.A.R. is a good shooter for people who like more action than story, the Splinter Cell series is good for people into games with some strategy and HUGE amounts of challenge, and (since I see you like RPG's a bit) you can never go wrong with Fallout 3 or Morrowind.

I actually purchased quite a few games recently, and though I've been putting them all off, they're all really good. I have 3D Dot Game Heroes for the PS3, Shadow of the Colossus for the PS2, and Patapon 2 for the PSP.

As for myself, I've been playing alot of ArmA II/ArmA II: Operation Arrowhead & on the PS3 it's GTA4 or Red Dead Redemption (depending on my mood).

Currently playing Mass Effect 2, again, Hardcore run this time, fun fun fun. With a bit of Forza 3 on the side.

I have loads of games I need to go back too. I have a horrible habit of playing games and not finishing them. The list of games I own that are unfinished is about double that the games of have. I pretty much bought every major game in the past year and haven't finished a lot of them.
