There's a 40 in my hand right now and I'm feeling thoughtful. So, putting these two qualities together, I came up with this thread.
What game best recreates drunkenness? For me, I think it was in Bioshock. Whenever you drink several alcoholic drinks in rapid succession, your vision blurs, sounds change, and lights shift in intensity and origin. It got to the point where I would actively avoid alcoholic beverages I found in Rapture (which is counterintuitive to my real life personality). Maybe the effects upon your character are not as accurate as the real life experience of actually being drunk, but they came pretty close.
So what games do you think recreated drunkenness with the most accuracy?
