What game did you first hear the F-bomb in?

Wow... really? I can't really think of any for me... all the M rated games I played never used it. I think it might have been Prey but I don't know.
Prey does have f-bombs aplenty. They rubbed on my harshly at first, then I welcomed them because of what the character was seeing and going through. "Fucked up" didn't describe half of it.

My first game was San Andreas, though it was watching my brother play. It rubbed me wrong there too because it felt like they were just trying to be controversial in a GTA game. I've played some much older games since (Longest Journey) and was surprised to find them in there too. The game is so dialogue-driven that I didn't care one little bit. It goes to show how swearing can either be forcefully injected into a game, or just have it flow out of it naturally because it is how many people talk in bad situations.

Loving all the Vice City in this thread. Yeah, VC for me. Favourite GTA to this date, too.

You know.... I honestly don't remember.

I do know that the first game, and only that I have, that uses the F=word consistently is Fallout 3. It was not the first game I heard it used in, but it definitely is the game I have that uses it the most often.

But that's probably because I love going to where Raiders hang out. Their dialogue just makes me chuckle. XD

Half-Life 2--and before you all cry out that such words never appear in the game, Valve cleverly hid it by purposefully making it much quieter and loudly dropping rubble at the same time.

See? I'm not lying to you.
I second that bassdrum. There I was, just crawling through some rubble to the next section of Half Life 2, then Barney says, "Hey, if you see Dr. Breen, tell him I said Fuck you!"

Thanks Barney, I'll do that.

The Getaway on PS2, there were ALOT of F-Bombs dropped in that game. British people make swearing cool!
Ah, I remember that. Fond memories of childhood ^^

Though I believe Max Payne was the first age rated game I ever played, so it was probably that.

Probably a GTA game like GTA3 or Vice City. It was so long ago I don't even remember.

Final Fantasy VII. Sorta'. You see, they said it A LOT in the game, but they always "censored" it by putting in nonsense characters instead. Thing is, it's the only word in the game that they used but censored, so I knew exactly what they were saying even at my young age. Therefore I count it.

Probably Gta 3 or Vice city, if either of those had it. I don't recall it being said once though. The very first game had a song with an uncensored 'fuck' though, so actually I'm counting that. By the time san andreas came around it was '************' every 30 seconds...

By that logic I saw an episode of Rugrats that said 'shit' about 30 times.
