No... That last one is not a joke... and I constantly have a ranty death wish...
I thought Maybe you just stop playing sonic 06 but hope to beat it one day.
Well, as a word of advice for Sonic 06, do not try to get all S ranks on the main story stages unless you're trying to win a money-based bet... Other than that, just beat it once and then buy the soundtrack instead of using the game as a means to listen to the soundtrack...

Warning, most of my stuff is 3DS stuff

-Shin Megami Tensei 4 (Going back to try and complete the Demon Compendium and complete the other routes)
-Fire Emblem Awakening (Blame Smash Bros 3DS for reigniting my love for this game)
-Tomodachi life (Got back into this after watching a community LP with QR codes)
-Pokemon X (Getting ready for Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire)
-Warframe (Constant events and updates keep pulling me back in.... Damn you, Archwing....)
-TF2 (some updates get me back in, then I kinda drop off again.)
-Kingdom Hearts (Borrowed the 1.5 remix from a friend, playing in preparation for the 2.5 remix and Kingdom Hearts 3)

SimCity 4/2000 - 8000 hours and still going.
Warcraft 3 - Once in a blue moon when I feel like making something.
Skyrim/FO3/FONV - Because walking around is such nice.
SimFarm - I just like the feel of it.

I've not done my annual replay of Call of Pripyat or Deus Ex this year.. and I think I'm ok with that actually. There's a scary notion.

My FTL boner has raised its luscious purple tumescent head once more, though. It's good to play while I've got telly to watch.

For seven-odd years it was Guild Wars. At the moment, it's GW2.

I also had pretty long-running stints of 'off-again-on-again' with BF2142, TF2, and Age of Mythology.

Persona 4. It harms the experience, seeing the same plot play out two times in a row, so when I finish the game, I need some time away before I'm ready to jump back in and re-experience it like new again. It's always a great experience by then.

The main ones I keep going back to are:

Mass Effect series

Dragon Age series

Payday 2

World of Tanks/War Thunder

Warframe

Geneforge

Fallout 3 and New Vegas

Skyrim

It kinda sucks since I keep going back to those when I already have such a massive backlog, but those games keep drawing me back.

Timesplitters 3 and Resident Evil 4 come to mind. While I don't really play it much, I think about VTM:B a lot.

Every year or half I get The Urge. And I throw either Blue, Gold, or Emerald onto my emulator (I still have the carts) and play Pokemon at 5000% speed. Kills the grinding while still allowing me to build a new team of 'mons I never used before and run it. I just wish I could speed up DS titles, I want to play Volt White but I don't know how to kick it into high gear.

A few older adventure game series like Myst, Syberia, Longest Journey, add in a bit of rpg/rts hybrids like Spellforce or Warlords Battllecry 3 and finally a good heart pumping session of UT99 or 2004 and a sprinkle of Homeworld for nostalgias sake.

Castlevania:portrait of Ruin and Castlevania:Order of Ecclessia
I play them whenever i have free time at school, and i have completed both at least 9 times, i measure that by counting items that you can only get once each playtrough(like medals for killing bosses without taking any damage)

I keep coming back to MGS Rising. I sometimes just go and play a couple of the boss fights on different difficulties for an hour because the mechanics are fun as hell. Platinum still proving that they're still the best in the business at designing these kind of games.
This, MGR is awesome, i haven't played it as much recently, but its one of my most played games on Steam

And lastly, Tales of Vesperia Ps3, the combat system is so awesome that i'm currently wondering if i'm going to run out of money at some point by playing the arena over and over
