The title says it all really. What game, if any, gets your adrenaline going?

I've had quite a few games do this, most recently with Dark Souls. The boss battles are really heart pounding, and the sense of relief and accomplishment when you manage to defeat them is incredible.

I've also had a few hair-raising moments against some of the boss battles in Persona 4, particularly some of the late game ones.

So tell me, with what games have you experienced this?

Arkham City challenges and Halo on Legendary with some skulls on really does the trick for me.
The Suicide Mission on ME2 for some reason as well. Oh, and HL2 Ep 1 does it all the time.

StarCraft. No game makes my heart beat so fast as I'm about to push the enemy base. Oh, that adrenaline rush...

Any game I play with pvp that I actually engage in. I'm a really passive person so my heart starts racing when pvp starts up like in Battle grounds or like an entire LoL match because I'm somewhat nervous about screwing up and losing the game for my team. It kinda sucks but is also rather exhilarating at the same time

I've got to agree with Persona 4. So awesome.

Fun fact: Persona 4's easy mode ruined Nyx for me, lol. Who would have thought that easy on P3 really meant easy instead of slightly less bullshit? :/

Oh and playing LoL.

"Hum de dum, just farming away, it's a bit quiet lately I wonder wha-OH CHRIST 4 MAN TOWER DIVE HUG THE TOWER HARDER FFUUUUUUUUUU"

I swear with certain characters I am so good at killing greedy chicken divers when i'm on 10hp and they're like half (Riven you beast!) but with others I just have no fucking idea. Especially AD carries... I have one good juking tactic with Ezreal but that's about it ('cept the good old Ashe Arrow) It involves Flash and Arcane Shift naturally.

You ned a damn steady head as well. A good example would be Katarina and/or most AD carries. You have so much damage mid/lategame you can penta their entire team if they don't focus you in a teamfight. I still have yet to master Kat's awesome cooldown refreshes. Nerves of steel don't come cheap sir.

MOBAS and shooters, especially shooters during one-life gamemodes. Especially one life gamemodes during which all your friends die and you alone have to complete the objective.

X-com, when the chrysalids show up.
I get attached to my grunts so I really don't want to see them die.

And I'll throw another vote down for League of Legends.
I always play characters that get right up in the enemies faces, so times get pretty hectic when it's just you running away from your five new best friends.

Battlefield 3 big time. Almost any game I play with my legs up, all relaxed. Battlefield just gets me in the moment. I don't notice im seriously into it until the match ends and I realize I've been staring intensely at the monitor.

Easily Persona 4.

Whenever I hear that iconic battle tune...
...shit gets real.

Team Fortress also grabs my adrenaline needle.

Uber charging a sentry nest as a soldier never fails to get my blood flowing. :3

Tribes when I have the flag, that always makes me sweat with excitement.

In fact, any shooter with CTF, it's always exciting to run away, dodging bullets and taking shortcuts to reach your base.

And League of Legends lately, I swear, I've been banging my head over the desk for the last week for not playing this game any sooner.
So freaking awesome. It would be a thousand times better if it had a CTF mode.

Had one just a few hours ago. In Borderlands 2 mini-boss named W4r-d3n (the only timed boss in the game).
Otherwise when doing a non-lethal run in Metro 2033.

A lot of games have the ability to get my adrenaline pumping but I think the one that gets it going the most has to be the CoD games on Hardcore Search & Destroy. Especially if you're the last man standing.

Absolutely nothing compares to a good firefight in DayZ. The intensity is insane, never felt anything like it while playing any other game.
Scary than being shot at by you haven't spotted yet... Even when they miss - Those god damn snaps are intimidating

Playing Blazblue with my friends and regular peeps that are of equal skill level. Fighting games can be the most hype shit ever when you got two roughly equally matched players going at each other. Shit gets down to the wire, and you can cut the tension with a knife in some of those fights.

My Hakumen brings out the "no bullshit" in people, they gotta fight with every ounce to take me down. And the same goes when I fight my friends who play Hazama, Bang, Litchi, Valkenhyne and Relius. I can't fuck around with them when we put on our serious hats.

When a single last hit will determine who wins, there is no other gaming experience that brings out the amount of hype I feel. Though when it comes to Lambda and Noel players, I just want that crap to be over with, because screw those scrubby ass characters.

Nothing gets my blood pumping more than Devil May Cry 3 on hard mode. Battles are intense, frantic and they definitely make you earn it.

STALKER, in a horror way. There's very little in gaming more terrifying than waiting out an emission in a warehouse around Jupiter that may or may not be infested with blind dogs.

Mass Effect 2 and 3 in a FUCK YEAH way. The suicide mission in 2...god damn, man. Blowing the christ out of the Collector ship was awesome. The scene on Rannoch with Tali in 3 (assuming you romanced her) was awesome, too. As was the entire final assault on Earth.

I'll never forget talking to my team that one last time before making the last push to Harbinger. I had Two Steps From Hell playing in my head the whole time as Shep broed out with Garrus, looking over the assembled Krogan platoon, just...everything.

Oh, and the renegade interrupt following the Kai Leng fight. No spoilers, if you did it, you remember it.

Uncharted 2&3: Full of 'holy shit WTF this is bananas' moments
Silent Hill 2: When this came out I couldn't even play it, I just watched my brother play. Still the scariest game ever made.
Any multiplayer shooter other than TF2.
