What game should I pick up?

This is really really frustrating. I'm at uni right now and I didn't bring any consoles . My computer kind of sucks and I've never been that good at FPS computer gaming. I'm really sick and tired of league of legends and I don't want to play DOTA. I've never been a big computer gamer and so I've only pretty much played like CS, skyrim, a few MOBAS, the touhou series, and mmos on the computer. Help me pick something.

I used to play competitive call of duty but that was a few years ago.

I'm looking for a game that:

1. Not too competitive.
2. Human interaction
3. Strong player base
4. Something I can jump right into, no farming, grinding or whatever.
5. Can be run on a medium-end computer.

Totally forgot about torchlight. I'll definitely put it on my list. I don't know about minecraft. I always found that game to be really frustrating. But I'll consider that too.

TF2 possibly. It's on the edge of some of the categories.
Can't really think of anything else, as my friends make up whatever player base I interact with.
