Being a big Resident Evil fan, I don't want anything more than to see a Iso dump of Resident Evil 1.5 on the Net.
Like with most Resident Evil Games, the prototypes are in public domain, and while some have been released Such as the Resident Evil beta demo this year by Drx, and the soon to be dumped Unreleased Gameboy Color Version, there has been one prototype that has been on everyone's lips, and that is the 80 per cent completed version of the original version of Resident Evil 2, also commonly known as Resident Evil 1.5.
Resident Evil 1.5 was the original vision of Resident Evil 2 before it was scrapped near completion, and redone mostly from the ground up (keeping very little of it), due to the displeasure of the director Shinji Mikami.
It is reported that only few of these discs actually exist in the public domain, around half a dozen or so. One of rumoured owners of one of the said discs is in charge of the website Playstation Museum. It is unknown if the said person still own's the disc or has sold it. Regardless, a couple of years ago, a Youtube user who goes by the name of GoroMacida made a video of him playing the "holy grail" which caused quite a stir in the Resident Evil community. It is still unknown if this was the same guy that is in charge of the website Playstation Museum.
This is the original video he posted.
There has been little else since then, and the location of the prototypes are still unknown to a lot of people.
It would be great if someday, someone, somewhere would find this prototype, and would share it with the Resident Evil community, and preserve this great long lost treasure.
