Part of the fun of Heavy Rain was the fact that the game was pushing you to your limits and personalized the experience from your choices. If it was made into a movie it would probably be just a crappy mystery story.

I would say that BioShock would make a good thriller if it wasn't actually based on the game. If it were more of an expansion on the BioShock universe it would make a great movie.

Well, essentially any that draw heavily from Cinema anyway, but the one that comes to mind is RDR. It's basically a retread of the old western movies already, so it wouldn't be much of a stretch.

Halo! Has anyone seen the footage online of the first 7 or so minutes of the movie!? It was so epic! Even if that was fan-made and not really made by a movie company it seriously convinced me that Halo, if done right, could be one amazing bloody movie.

Bioshock or perhaps Fallout 3. With Fallout the movie can have the good ending and on the DVD one of the alternate endings can be the bad/neutral endings.
