Does anyone remember Remember Me?
Clever...! Seriously though, that game could've been so much better. The memory re-write mini-game was pretty good, might have been better if there was more of it instead of just four in which two were the same scenario, IIRC. Ah well...

OT:

A few, I guess... Assassin's Creed II, Mass Effect, KotOR, Rome: Total War (on the proviso I get to forget every succeeding TW game, as well... just so the novelty of the gameplay hits just as hard as it did back then), Deus Ex: Human Revolution and others, I'm sure... all great games, but varying levels of replayability/how well they wear their age.

I wish Remember Me wasn't the only game that studio made set in France. Everybody wants to make games set in America. I don't get the fascination or comfort in that. Would have been interesting to see rural France in Life Is Strange.

Fallout 3. I suppose I'd have to forget the subsequent games as well, and probably the Elder Scrolls games too, and I think various other open world games for it to have quite the same impact, but even so the feeling of exploring the charred irradiated carcass of civilisation in fallout 3 is probably the best overall gaming experience I've had.

True it was partially the time and place, I had only just got back into playing games after a long hiatus and had only really played a few strategy games like Dawn of war and Civ 4 so the open world RPG thing was completely new to me and the 1st person perspective added to the immersion as it was a time of my life that having another world to get lost in was quite appealing.

And finally, it doesn't work so well second time around. The sense of discovery and exploration isn't really there so much, there's the odd bit but mostly it's just treading old ground, especially if you explored every in the 1st time
