System Shock 2.

New graphics would make that awesome again. instead of merely brilliant.

There's plenty of fan texture packs (such as SHTUP and Rebirth) but they are still limited by the engine of the game. A full texture rebirth would be...
*drools*
There's other mods, like Secmod, which add more stuff and difficulty. It would be nice to throw them in as well.

Magic Carpets. The potential scope for that game is mind blowing. A strategy/shoot em up that could merge RPG, RTS, and flight sim.

Either that or a proper X-Com remake. I do not hold out much hope for the up-coming release.

Company of Heroes.

Remove the british faction, fix the few remaining balance issues and add about five new (good) maps to the rotation pool.

Skullgirls, I'd add an online community. Nobody plays that game anymore, fact. :(

Talking about communities... I'd remove the taunt button from UMVC3 because it breeds scum. Anyone who uses it in a non-vengeance related manner needs to be shot. I would give Phoenix Wright back his godlike invincible Turnabout assists as well. Those were the days...

I would also add a "play for fun" playlist in LoL, where nobody cares, just instalocks whoever and there is no win/loss record. Seriously, there is way too much rage. Chill the fuck out people!

Ah well at least the infamous MOBA rage can give us some entertainment, like so:

World of Warcraft - An overhauled graphics engine would give the game another 8-years of shelf life (but I'm obviously biased).

As for other games, i'm not much of a fan of dredging up old games to play -- it always seems to ruin the magic they hold for me...I did it with Goldeneye T_T

Deus Ex with Human Revoultions visuals would be a nice face lift. I generally am not bothered by visuals unless they hurt my eyes, but we can all agree DE has not aged well.

Also, the first Witcher game with Witcher 2 visuals and hell, maybe even W2s gameplay updates would be godly. I honestly think it might happen too seeing as CDPR are releasing the Red Engine modding tools, and I would not be surprised if some dedicated fans started their own "black mesa" project with Witcher 1. I can dream at least...

Final Fantasy VII, just so some of the fans (including myself) would shut up. Honestly, the rererelease was just a money grab.
Mmm this. I'd love to have a graphical update for FF7 and 6, though with 7 I would not go with Advent Children visuals like everyone else drooling over that. I'd rather like to see a graphical update in the same lines of Crisis Core/Dissidia/Kingdom Hearts visual aesthetic instead.

It just has a lot more character, charm, and ages really well. I really think that's the art style that should be used if they were to graphically update any of the older FFs 1-9. It won't break the bank on visual productions, and still looks really good.

Streets of Simcity. If I could make my own cities in Simcity than switch to Streets of Simcity and play missions within my own town, that would be awesome. I love the old graphics but a new Streets of Simcity would be amazing.

Oh EA... Crushing my dreams because Maxis is your slave...

A graphically updated Final Fantasy VI would make me one happy girl. I loved just about everything about that game, it's so wonderfully odd. I'd be a guaranteed sale.

SWAT 3. Best tactical shooter I've been able to enjoy yet. Great single-player, okay multiplayer, huge Co-Op focus, customization, the complete inability to jump...fun stuff.

You and me both. When I saw Terra and Kefka in Dissidia, I really couldn't picture a graphical update to FF6 in any other way. That art style just oozes style, character, and charm; the fact that Kefka can still be terrifying while looking so cartoonish is just a testament to the art design XD

Ninja'd by the OP, well that's a first for me.
Star Wars Battlefront was flippin' amazing, and with the benefit of modern-er technology it would be nothing short of brilliant.

Deus Ex or Arcanum. Arcanum did receive many fan-based updates but having one official legitimate widely distributed release would be nice.

As a fanboy of older FF games I would rather have Final Fantasy IX. Always liked it more than VII.
I'm gonna go with this guy.

Final Fantasy IX had some of the most amazing fantasy settings ever.
Thinking about seeing locations like Lindblum, Cleyra and Ipsen's Castle makes me feel all warm inside.

Though, I'm not really sure it would work, there's something about pre-rendered backgrounds that just... I don't know. There wasn't an FF title before or after IX that managed to amaze me more in the department of landmarks.

Oh! Legend of Legaia. I would mind seeing an update of that game either.
