Defending against the toy helicopters was the bane of my existance on that game and is the reason I never finished it =(
raged so hard I sold the game
You know that was an optional mission, right? You didn't have to complete it to beat the game.

I think Rockstar probably realised they fucked up and that it was too much of a difficulty spike.

Pity they didn't realise that for the racing and flying missions... ugh.

The flying missions made me rage even more because of how awkward the controls were.
Remember the one where you had to fly across the entire world map and go through one corona? Miss the corona and it was all the back to the beginning for another ten minutes of mindless flying back to it.

People moaned that RDR was too easy but I found it a good thing, Rockstar are finally doing something about their horrific difficulty spikes.
Yeah, I remember that one too. It was so horrible having to restart a mission that difficult. I also remember the one where you had to collect something with a plane but had to stay under the radar or else you would fail the mission. The only real way to easily stay under the radar was to fly close to the water which sucked if you accidentally flew the plane into the water.

Any multi-player game at times, no matter how much I love it.

BC2, L4D1/2, TF2, you name it. A couple of bad matches in any game can really ruin my day.

MW2 takes the cake though for it's horrible, game-breaking balance and failing respawn system. A few days ago I spawned right in front of someone who just spinning up the minigun he was manning. See my avatar? Yeah, those kind of things make me pull that face.

Care to elaborate? If anything, it's one of the smoothest multi-player shooters I've played in quite a while.

The lobby is a complete pile of shit though.

Any of those shitty games where you play with toy guitars or whatever. I hate them, I won't let anyone play them here because they're annoying. I don't see how they became popular when you could just learn an actual instrument and make your own songs up.

Yet somehow people get on TV because they're good at hitting buttons at the right moment on a fake guitar yet people who are actually really good at the instrument are ignored. Dance Dance is more valid than it (Not that I like that game either) you at least get a work out.
It's a fantasy; people want to be rock stars. People just want to group up, pretend to be a kick-ass rock band and have fun without having to practice for years and years. XKCD illustrates it perfectly:

And I have yet to see people get on TV because they rock at those games. That'd be rather silly. Then again, TV is rather shit for quite some time already, especially musical television.
I rarely watch TV and I've seen a few people on because they're really good at it. I understand its supposed to be fun but nothing about it is appealing, I'm more spiteful because whenever friends used to bring it over it'd be 6 hours straight of it and they'd keep trying to make me play, as in pulling me up out of a chair and giving me the controller.

Any game with Stupid Main characters, games with stories where you have to read 2 mangas, watch 3 series, and 5 DVD's to catch up to the sequel. Fucking .hack series, not making any sense after Quarantine.
And Halo clones don't even really rip-off Halo that well. So games like Haze.

I am currently playing mw2 and i am getting redicously pissed off. it seems no matter how much i play i never get better.

trust me im getting fed up with this game
I think some people (me included) reach a medium level pinnacle of skill in that game and can't seem to get better no matter how much they practice.

I guess it's all down to reaction time and strategic thinking, some people are just more naturally gifted than others.

I can never do consistently well in shooters even though I have very often come first in games... it just seems some people will always just be quicker and better.
im the same way but i refuse my natural gifts and be good at WHAT THE FUCK I WANT!!!!

srry for all caps but it pisses me off that i will never be good. but dammit im gonna try cus i wanna choose what im good at

Any multiplayer games. I despise multiplayer. Granted, I found Battlefield multiplayer to be playable for a couple days, but that's the longest I've ever player multiplayer. Halo 3 got a single match, Gear 2 didn't get any, and CoD4/6 got a day.

Not the entire game but the ending for Knights of the Old Republic 2. I expected at least something to explain all this shit that was going on but nope, right before I thought there would be at least a custscene explaining what happened, the credits started to roll. I wanted to snap the disc in half.

None of the above.

They are video games, which are supposed to provide enjoyment and entertainment. If one fails to do so, I just wont play it. My rage is valuable, and to me its not a worth while use to waste it on vehemently despising a video game.

bc2 is just so stupid, the guns dont work properly, i mean i can take the same shot twice and the first will miss completely. the hit register is just plain weird and it looks like crap. not to mention being soo over hyped and bf2142 was a 10 times better game and its four years old now

Games that politely tell you 'You Are DEAD' or 'You Have DIED", i feel like screaming NO F***ING S**T thats why my decapitated body's lying on the floor with my blood all over the show while the AI tea-bags my dead blood stained virtual face!

The Saboteur. That game will have my spitting like a wild cat out of frustration within 5 minutes guaranteed.
Also, Borderlands. NO matter who many times Id tell myself "This will get better. Stick with it. Contain your rage" I just couldnt do it. *ARRRGHHHH!*
Just curious, what was it in Borderlands that made you rage?
I have asked myself the same question. I loved the graphics but everything else was just so...Blah. Y'know when you play a game and you SHOULD like it but something inside just goes "meh". It was rage brought on by boredom I think. I just found the gameplay and story so boring - even co-op with friends. Just did f-all for me - therefore vexing me immensely.
