Yeah yeah, list thread, but it's interesting. Shh. :p

For me, the list is longer than I'd expect it to be, I'm rarely hyped for games but yeah... 4 is more than usual xD

-Portal 2
-Zeno Clash 2 (or whatever they end up calling it (and it BETTER be out this year >:D))
-Dragon Age 2
-Skyrim

Something tells me I missed one. Oh well.

I'll join you for Portal 2 and Skyrim, but I'll add Mass Effect 3 to the list as well. The Witcher 2 also looks good; I enjoyed the first and the second seems to have improved on it. Oh yes and Bulletstorm looks pretty fun, I havn't been keeping up with it because I thought it was multiplayer based, but now I've learnt that it has a decent single player campaign I intend to keep an eye on it.

This year is a good year to be a Bioware fan, Dragon Age 2, then SWTOR comes this year too I think and end the year with Mass Effect 3.

I am also planning on getting Brink, that game looks good from what I have seen so far. I haven't looked at many other games so who knows there could be more. It just seems like this year there are a lot of good games that will be released.

Pokemon Black & White
Dragon Age 2

Those are the only ones I'm getting on launch, at least.

Uh. Brink, probably.
Maybe Gears of War 3.
Pokemon White.
And uh, Diablo 3.

I dunno, not too looking forward to this year. I'll be interested to see how Skyrim pans out though.

The two main games I'm looking forward to coming out this year are

-mass effect 3

-Dragon age 2

Bioware makes some really great games. I loved both the mass effect series and Dragon age origins because of their epic storytelling and role playing feel. Out of both of them Dragon age 2 is going to be the best, because I love fantasy RPG's, and of what I've seen of the game it looks really impressive.

I'm most likely the only one on this entire forum who is but..

Dynasty Warriors 7

Also I'm curious if bethesda will screw up Skyrim. Should also be interesting to see if Duke Nukem Forever will be worth almost 13 years of waiting.

Let's see:

Brink
Dead Space 2
Mass Effect 3
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings
Dragon Age 2
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Homefront
Portal 2
Crysis 2

I'm kind of on the fence about The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, but, to be honest, I haven't played Oblivion, so I can't judge it yet. I'm interested, but I want to see what Oblivion has to offer before I commit myself.

Also, Bulletstorm is a maybe. Not sure if it'll be worth it yet. We'll see.

Also also, Half-Life 2: Episode 3 would be a must-buy, but I'm not expecting it to be out until 2012. No, not because that's the end of the world, but because it'll be five years after Episode 2 came out. And it took five years of work to go between Half-Life and the sequel.

I'm expecting them to basically just release Half-Life 3 instead of Episode 3. It will be a direct continuation of the story, but will be the length of a full retail game, with improved graphics and physics and the whole she-bang. Because that's what Valve does.

How was the original? I've seen lots of praise for it, but the art style really soured me to it. Is it really that good?

Honestly Im not really sure whats coming out this year, but hears to what I'm hoping for:
Mass Effect 3 (if i can get off my ass and beat the first 2)

Brink (kinda reminds me of MAG in a way)

Dragon Age 2 (again if i beat the first one, but I have more progress than the Mass Effect Games)

Dragon Age 2
Mass Effect 3
Elder Scrolls 5 - Although I will wait for the reviews first, Oblivion put me to sleep.
Probably a bunch of retro titles from steam and GOG too. I have a "When I get a minute" list as long as my comically inflated manhood.

Mass Effect 3 (XBox 360 version)
Possibly Dragon Age 2 (PC version, not touching the console version)
Shogun 2 Total War (only available on PC)
