What games did you finish, and then immediately start again?

Immediately doesn't necessarily have to mean the very next second... but I mean the situation where you didn't play through any other games before starting again. So most likely you started again within a day or so. You can include playing "new game plus" modes here.

Although I tend to replay games I like again and again, I usually leave at least a few months between playthroughs. Even with NG+ modes like in Demon's/Dark Souls or RPGs with significantly different character options.

The only games I can think of that compelled me to play them again straight away:

  • [li]Infamous - My first go was as a good guy so I felt the need to see all of the evil guy powers and the ending.[/li]
[li]Trine - I played through it alone, then co-op, and then I went ahead and played through it alone again to try to get all of the secrets. It was just too much fun.[/li]
[li]Goldeneye - I only owned it and Mario Kart 64 for quite a while and I just played through it again and again and again.[/li]

So what games compelled you to play through them again right after finishing them? Do you do it often?

Sniper, Ghost Warrior. It was really good looking and I enjoy sniping, it also a bit short so I wanted more.

Farcry2, beautiful game, funny story and interesting gameplay.

MGS3, loved the story, played it again because of the new equipment, when I finished the game.

This was a while ago, but i LOVED that game. So many rage filled afternoons. I remember i played all night just to finish it. When i finished it, I went to bed. When i woke up, i decided I would play it all over again, but upside down on the couch. I only got a quater of the way... :\

I should seriously get back into that game.

edit:
Also, Sudeki. I dont know if anyone here actually played that game, but i sure as hell loved it. Once i finished it, I literally played it through again. Ive probably played, and finished that game about 6 times.

Dead Space 2: I found myself liking the gameplay a lot, I only used 4 guns the first time around, so I got to experience the awesomeness of the Ripper, Contact Beam, and Javalin Gun on the second time around, was quite an experience to utilize the guns in ways I hadn't previously. Not to mention my first playthrough was miserable health-wise I was always at 10% health and no health packs to be found anywhere in sight, second playthrough was a breeze in a massively fun way.

Dragon Age Origins: Self-explanatory pretty much, great game, lots of stuff to play through the next few times around.

Mass Effect 1: More out of "lack of anything else interesting to play at the time" then being a good game. I was bored, there was nothing else.

Mass Effect 1 and Oblivion. Both are easily in my top five games of all time.

You know you could just save before making the choice and then load again before making it and choose the other one, right? You didn't have to restart lol.

Dragon Age Origins, Dragon Age II, Mass Effect 1, Mass Effect 2, Neverwinter Nights 2, Neverwinter Nights 2 Mask of the Betrayer....

Annnnnd that's about it.

All were RPGs I liked (Yes, even DA:II) and wanted to play again. I usually give myself 12-24 hours or so between finishing a game and starting a new one.

Halo Reach. Solo for the achievement and the Co-op for the hilarious fun that reminds why I love Halo.

So many it's not even funny. Just counting the NES days, I'd go through a game dozens of times before I got a new one.

I'd say Skyrim, but honestly, it's going to be a loooooooooooong time before I'm done with my first playthrough, and I could die of old age before that happens, so, yeah.

Mirror's Edge... four times.

And thus it became my favorite game of all time.
I did this for the Mirror's Edge Demo. Never got around to actually buying it, though.

Anyway: Super Mario Galaxy. I did a 100% Mario run, and then immediately after did a 100% Luigi run.
I think I did Halo 3: ODST twice in a row, once on Heroic, then Legendary; I meanwhile collected the Audio Files.
And of course Majora's Mask. One summer I was bored, so I did my annual 100% Majora's Mask run. After the credits rolled I was like, "Fuck it, let's do that again."

Yay! Someone else loved that game! I managed to get addicted to that game quite thoroughly, and I still have it around here somewhere.. Damn, Now I feel like playing it again.

Uhh.. For the topic, I can say any halo (first on heroic coop, and then legendary solo.) Mass Effect 2 ( 3 times in a week) and infamous.
