Earthbound all the way.

Easily my favorite game of all time and I've beaten it about 7 or 8 times since it came out. On 3 of those attempts, I maxed out my level for all the characters because I was searching for the damn Sword of Kings... >_<

Valkyrie Profile 2 comes to mind. it has 50 levels of new game+. that's a nightmare if you have OCD about that kinda thing. many people have tried to finish it, very few if any have actually bothered to beat that game 50 times :p i didn't make it, but i might have if i still had access to the game.

Jet's n Guns gold more recently. it also has multiple levels of new game+, though i'm not sure how many. i got really bored after 9 or 10 playthroughs and it's been sitting in hiatus for awhile now. i might actually finish that one someday though.

Postal 2, at the end it rates you based on how many people you killed and a bunch of other statistics that I don't recall right now. Shortly after my first play through I saw a screenshot where someone played through the whole game without doing one thing that would be considered by normal society to be 'wrong' and decided to try it for myself.

During one of the "missions" I got caught on fire by some stupid ass redneck in the brewery and had to piss on myself to put the fire out and at the end of the game I was labeled as a "Water Sports Enthusiast" for my trouble. Still I didn't have a single kill attributed to me, nor did I smoke any "health pipes" or even so much as raise the ire of the local police.

One day I may try again but in an open world where you're given a machete that slices off limbs and acts like a boomerang it's just too tempting to commit mass murder.

Dragon Age: Origins, Infamous 1 and 2, Batman Arkham Asylum, Uncharted 1 and 2. All good games with great stories.

Mine was Front Mission 3. I played through that game like 4 times. I think it was probably the most amazing of the FM games

KOTORs 1 and 2; in the case of 2, I repeated the process of completing it and restarted it about six times!

Dragon Age Origins, Dragon Age II, Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, Saints Row, Saints Row 2, Mirror's Edge, Enslaved, Knights of the Old Republic...

That's all I can think of right now. And in some cases I started another game BEFORE I even finished the first playthrough.

Stupid?

Maybe. But character creation is like a drug to me.

Honestly, I've almost never been able to replay COMPLETED games without something inbetween them. Especially now, as I play as many as 2-4 games simultaneously, there's almost never anything truly in-between replays. Now, if we were to count games that I haven't beaten, ones that I chose to restart to fix a prior error or pursue a different route, then the list grows a bit, including the old Megaman, Mario, and Donkey Kong Country games, as well as a handful of RPGs. Other than that, though, once I beat a game, very little compels me to want to give it a second go right away.

However, two games that I've played that have warranted replay within the same week has been Portal 2 and Bastion. Both of those have felt like genuine entertaining experiences, with stories that flowed so well that I just couldn't stop thinking about them after beating them. I have to say I truly enjoyed the "addictive" qualities of these two games, and hope to see many more like them in my future.

Also, Sudeki. I dont know if anyone here actually played that game, but i sure as hell loved it. Once i finished it, I literally played it through again. Ive probably played, and finished that game about 6 times.
Yay! Someone else loved that game! I managed to get addicted to that game quite thoroughly, and I still have it around here somewhere.. Damn, Now I feel like playing it again.
Aww you're so lucky!
I was feeling nostalgic a few weeks ago, and when i hooked up my original xbox, it said the disc was broken or something. No more sudeki for me. :(

Hunted: The Demon's Forge

I got the bad ending the first time round, so I stuck it on NewGame+ and replayed it. Helps that you get achievements for killing each boss as each character and my first run was entirely E'lara based.

Ha, I still got to find it >.> It could be anywhere in the house. I just know it was not a game I would trade in at all due to its awesome replayablity. Isnt there Ebay or something like that you can get a new copy?

Also, on the topic, got to add chrono trigger to the list. So many outcomes..

Silhouette Mirage. The game makes you play through it five times on a limited number of continues to get the best ending, so over a two-month period I played through it at least twenty times. I now find the game completely unplayable.

It didn't even occur to me until I tried playing it again earlier this year just how disturbing that giant flying fish-girl is.
