Pretty much what the topic line says. Can you think of any games that expresses an idea or a statement?

EDIT:

Never mind, I found one, thanks for NOTHING escapist.

What a terribly vague question.

Are we talking political ideas? Ideological issues? Religious ideas? Spiritual ideas? Philosophical, existensialist or ethical ones?
Are we talking the human condition? What makes people laugh? Cry? Rage? Become calm and collected and clear? Beauty and ugliness both physical and metaphorical? Birth, life, death, rebirth; whether symbolic or physical?

Bioshock if you're looking for discussions of philosophical and ethical ideas.
Silent Hill for the human condition.
Call of Duty 4 gave me a distinctly anti-war vibe.
Minecraft CAN have a lot of shades of existentialism if you let it.

No problem bro, I'm happy to help. (Is that enough sarcasm?)

Btw what kind of question is that? What games express ideas, as the user above me noted, that's an incredibly vague question. Almost every freaking game has some sort of idea. Play Bioshock or Red Dead Redemption.

Oh how I wish any game besides Bioshock has used that twist. Such an overrated game.

Spiritual successor? Try straight copy and paste.
...System Shock was steam punk?

The World Ends With You has a great message about life, people, friends, etc. that is well-woven into the plot without being too subtle nor too heavy-handed.
