What games have made you physically angry playing them.

Very hard mode in MGR: Revengeance for the Jetstream Sam dlc. The fight with Armstrong was so brutal and VR so impossible, I'd never suggest playing that mode on Revengeance difficulty (the only difficulty higher) to anyone, unless they want evidence of how badass they are at spectacle fighters, or they want to create new swear words.

Street Fighter AI has always pissed me off in varying ways. Sometimes they do psycho-crushers while walking forward or execute combos that don't actually work. The reaction times approaching zero seconds don't help either.

The other time was playing that PlayStation Store exclusive game where the world has been overrun by a giant dust storm. From Dust or something like that? I can't remember what it was called, but you're a survivor trying to make his way back to his family. I was having fun with it, climbing all over the place, using survival skills, being smart with enemy encounters. And then I got to the part where you had to fight three people at once. You have one bullet. The game tells you, "Sometimes, if you kill the strongest enemy in the group, the others will surrender without a fight." So, I shot the leader--or at least who I thought the leader was. He went down, the other two rushed me, and I died. Okay. Replayed that part, shot another guy. Same thing. Reload a third time. Shot the third guy. Same. Damn. THING! I replayed that part seven times, each time shooting a different one of the guys, and I kept dying. I tried to look it up, watch a video, anything. Everyone just said "Shoot the leader." I was mighty pissed, so I ended up uninstalling the game and swearing to never touch it again.

I Am Alive is the game you're talking about.From Dust was a God game.Also I Am Alive wasn't a PS exclusive.As for the combat it wasn't that bad.For groups of 3 the best way was usually to let one person approach you which would allow you to surprise kill them,then shoot one of the others(preferably the one with a gun)and finally melee kill the last one.I'm pretty sure the game teaches you this early on.All in all the combat in that game was pretty simple.It's just a case of figuring out the correct order to kill guys in

OT:Any online mutiplayer game really because there just seems to be an abundance of cheap,shiity deaths in multiplayer.Most recently I've started playing BF3 online(since EA did away with the online pass) and fuck me that game can be frustrating.I don't know if it's because I'm so used to CoD but the guns in BF3 seem horribly inaccurate.I've fired entire clips of ammo at people 15 feet away and not killed them and then they one shot me.FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUU...still a fun game though and it's actually got me interested in BF4 now

The rebooted medal of honor's multiplayer, I borrowed it from a friend and played it with someone else and I feel so bad for them because 4 minutes in I was screaming curses and insults all over the place, that game was the only one I've ever gotten so mad I've actually felt my blood pressure rise.

Crysis 2, it gives me some enjoyment but for some reason everytime I exit from it ends up in rage.

Ghost Recon Future Soldier, super disappointing. Everyone in MP just uses a Sniper/SMG combo and the campaign is a massive bore.

Bit.Trip Runner 2 on the hardest difficulty. One of the best games I played this year but also very rage inducing.

And for some forum lolz, any Sonic special stage.

Mod Racers for the PSP.

It is impossible to finish in first on even the first track on normal difficulty. No matter how much you practice the track, utilize upgrades, and use all of the necessary advantages in this game, you are lucky if you place in fourth or third (second place will only occur once in a full moon).

I don't know if the console version is as difficult as its portable counterpart, but I've officially rage quit Mod Racers.

Playing Batman: Arkham City on hard. Both of the Abramovici twins fights: "Yaaay 40x combo-" *WHAM*/*SLASH*. GNNNNNNF.
Also XCOM: Enemy Unknown, in a good way though, it makes the game much more involving, but... When my Assault Colonel that has been with me through 20+ battles, has more than 40 alien kills and is capable of making 48% like nobody's business, FAILS to hit a 68% target. XCOOOOOOOM YOU ASSHOOOOLE. Made increasingly annoying when she hits a lower chance target inmediatly after.

The new tomb raider not only does that game ruin pretty much all of its good moments with cheap QTE but it rubs them in your face and that pisses me off so much every boss, it made me yell at my pc in rage and i think that if you removed the QTE from tomb raider and those overly long death bits then i would like the game

It's pretty rare for me to get angry at a game. Frustrated sure, but furious? Only one game has managed to make me reach that stage: New Super Mario Bros. Wii. I played with my brother and two friends, and after six levels I was ready to scream insults at them before I realized just how angry I was. It still astounds me how that game got me so pissed off at my family and friends.

The most angry I've gotten playing a video game was when playing Disgaea. I literally - yes I'm using that right - wanted to throw the controller into the television screen, then yank out the PS2 (which wasn't even mine) and throw it out the window.

Even thinking about that game makes me twitch. I did watch my friend play through it without incident though, lol.

When Nanako "died". On some level I knew killing Yamatame would get me the bad ending, but I killed him anyway. Went right back after the downer cutscene and did it right, but still... Fuck, was I mad.
Same to a lesser degree when I found out that Adachi had been stringing us all along -- endangering some of my favorite characters just for a game of cat-and-mouse. That time the game let me beat the crap out of him, though.

Almost any RPG involving grinding or battles with even a hint of luck to them can result in this, too.

I remember when I was a kid I literally threw my Gameboy across the room after my seventh failed attempt at catching Articuno in Pokemon Yellow... Zapdos was almost a repeat performance.

XCOM made me angry on Classsic. So many times my guys barely even tickled a Muton, and right after they sniped my Colonel from across the map for a Critical Damage kill. I don't ever want to touch Impossible, as it'll only result in a broken disc.

Also, I haven't played CoD in a while, but I can still remember all the cheap deaths I recieved. Too much to count, and I was always on the recieving end. Pretty much ended any desire to continue playing.

SSX: Tricky, for the Gamecube. I don't think, in my entire gaming life, I have ever been so biblically angry as when I would play SSX: Tricky. See, I was good at the game, so I decided to go all completionist on it, getting every single gold medal I could. It... didn't happen. My father had to come down and tell me, very calmly, and very clearly, that I was getting too mad at the game, and I needed to put it down.
That was around 2005/2006. I have seen a handful of SSX games since for the Wii and PS3 that looked interesting, but I haven't picked them up.

Batman: Vengeance, for the Gamecube. If you've played this game, you know my pain. If you haven't played this game, then you are fortunate. At the time, I was shouting because the gameplay was among the worst I've ever experienced. Today, I'm shouting for a different reason.
See, this was (99% sure) the first voiced Batman game, using the legendary voices from the animated series. Kevin Conroy, Tara Strong, Mark fuck-mothering Hamill, they were all there. But the game was god-awful.

2 for Fallout: New Vegas.
1. I'm currently doing a modded play through, which increased crashes ten-fold (though they're less common now, like the game got used to them or something). I got another mod which saves at an interval of your choosing, so that's fixed.
2. I'm currently in the Dead Money DLC, and when going to pick up Dean Domino, Dog kept stepping on tripwires and pressure plates, setting off the traps. Most, if not all, pressure plates are linked to a cluster of frag grenades which took half my health and crippled a limb or two. Since it's early in the DLC and it strips you of all non-quest related items at the start, all I had were a couple crappy food items (2+RAD, 1+HP(5s)) and one Doctor's Bag.

Not so bad now, though. I found some stimpaks. But there's still an F-Bomb here and there.
