What games were you raised on?

My very first game ever was an old Bubble Bobble arcade cabinet in the back of a pizzeria locally. I spent enough quarters on that thing that they eventually just let me play free.
My uncle gave me his SNES before he moved and marked me as a gamer for eternity. Me and my cousin spent many nights up all night playing through full games. We played through all of Donkey Kong country, Super Mario RPG, Earthworm Jim, even Mario is Missing sadly. We we're both only about 9 at that point.
My first FPS was Doom on the N64. It was pretty awesome playing something so dark and edgy at such a young age. My dad wouldn't let me play it, so I woke up in the middle of the night and played it while my parents we're asleep.
The most defining point in my gaming life was playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 and experiencing the idea of a level editor for the first time. I don't think I ever even cleared the campaign for that game, but I spend hours and hours building custom characters and levels. This game made me find my passion for creating my own games.
Hmmm....I've never summed up my gaming history like that. Neat.

The earliest game i can remember playing would be Double Dragon 2: The Revenge for the NES. I grew up playing NES and SNES games, and when i got older found some copies of Doom that me and my friends would play. But that double dragon game made me a gamer, played it when i was no older than 5 and me and my older brother would play that game for hours on 2 player co-op. With no way to save your game, you had to try and beat it in one sitting. Those were pretty intense games.
I was raised on a variety of platformers and RPGs, along with a few FPSes. These days I'm more into RPGs than anything.
Also, Mario Kart, which I still play all the damn time.
