me and a mate always go for the brothers Carmine (i'm usually A. Carmine), and if we're locust I always go for Raam, because i still think that Scourge is a pussy next to him.

The little bits of lore you can find always make me smile when their baird ranting about translations and such.

COG = Baird. He's the snarkiest besides Cole, and I'm not black.

Locust = Grenadier Elite or Theron. I choose the Elite when I don't want those capes flapping behind me.

I use Carmine because he could just be a nameless soldier, and I'd rather play that then some whooping trigger happy guys

And for RAAM, I like him because i worked so hard to beat him, because unlike Gears 2 the original Gears had a tough boss; man I remember trying to beat him on insane.

Baird- He's a realist and isn't some gruff retard. But unlike Carmine, he's also funny.

Cyclops- They don't look too freakish.

All this makes me want to buy Gears 2 (I rented it once), anyone know if it's come down in price yet?

For the COG I play as Tai, His death scene really shocked and annoyed me, but oh well I guess that's what is good about Gears, they kill even the good guys off.

For the Locust I play as the Theron guard just because they look awesome.
