What happened on your worst birthday ever?

I don't remember ever having a "worst birthday". Two years ago, I thought that I was going to and was quite down about it; it turns out that my worries were unfounded, however, as I received a PS3 on that particular day.

I can't exactly remember it, but I was in the hospital on my 17[sup]th[/sup] birthday in an induced comatose state.

I can't really think of a time when I have had a bad birthday. Most of them have been boring but none of them bad. I suppose one I don't particularly like was when one of my 7th grade teachers wished me happy birthday in front of the class. I appreciate that she remembered it but I hate it when people I don't know find out stuff about me.

Don't remember how old i was, 6-10, around that area, but anyways, I was sick as shit. Started out as a "kind of not feeling well" type of thing. My mom had to run a bunch of errands and I wasn't allowed to stay home alone at that point, so after a few hours of walking back an forth across a large college campus in the mid July California heat I ended up with a 106 degree fever and needed to be hospitalized. Not fun.

on my 18th i went out for drinks with my mates, i wanst allowed to drink because i was the only person who had a car (I lived half an hours walk had to walk back and get the car when no one had a way home...alone), when i got back my girlfirend dumped me and walked of with my best friend, we acidentaly set fire to our table (flaming drinks)I had to pay, on my way to the car I got mugged of my wallet, keys and phone.... my friend said "do somthing" to which i replied "its okay i saw his face i can tell the police", the mugger turned around and stabbed me three times.... i spent my first night as an 18 year old paying for everyone else and being stabbed

Somebody died and I had to go to class. That was my 21st. Granted, I didn't give a damn about the person who died, but the people around me did. It pretty much ruined the day.

It was my 18th birthday, I made arrangements with all my chums to meet me at a club called The Furnace to celebrate my birthday.

Not a single one of them turned up or even phoned up to let me know they couldn't come.

On my 13th birthday (oh boy, starts out good, ey?) I got a crappy, handed-down, moldy bike that was not comfortable in any way. I always get tests on my birthday, so I got a history test ( I suck at history)

My 5th birthday I guess. I had the flu. It wasn't that bad though, people were extra nice, and I got to walk around in my jammies all day.
My best birthday: my 21st. Shut off my phone and msn, ordered a pizza and stayed inside smoking pot in the bathtub.

I don't want to flame on it, but I like to quote Dudly from Harry Potter: "Thirty Six? Thirty Six! But last year, last year I had thirty seven!"

So you got a car, a helicopter, a puppy, a house and a television set?

I usually get 3 presents or so, but they are incredibly expensive (like games, even with a discount they are still expensive)

So I think quality is still better than quantity.

To be honest, I don't deserve any sympathy. I spent it alone because I was too lazy to do anything else.

I got some pretty sweet presents from my family, too.

Haven't really had any bad ones. Just a whole lot of lonely ones. Not having friends is a-okay 364 days out of the year. Haven't gotten a birthday present that wasn't from my parents for about seven years.

EDIT: It's worth mentioning that the circumstances are always of my own doing. It just kinda catches up to me in a weird sort of way on my birthday.

15th birthday was spent in a truck as my family drove cross-country It was stuffy for the most part, Wyoming was unseasonably cold and snowy, and all I got was a free driver's manual.

My 16th I guess. I got blamed for shoplifing (false) and the security guard wanted to make sure everyone heard what she was blaming me for. Bear in mind, I used to be painfully shy, so of course I ended up leaving the store in tears with make up running down my face.

Not as bad as some of the things in this thread, though, but it was pretty shite.
