I started watching Pony because I saw so many people here into it.

I've made some amazing friends.

Oh, and I found the most amazing guy.

Not a damn thing. The same is true of all of us.

We have countless ads we are forced to watch in order to do anything on this site. Those ads provide revenue for The Escapist. The Escapist gives us nothing- it's a commercial arrangement through and through.

Herpes. the Escapist gave me herpes.

...Okay not really.
On a serious note though, I met a nice friend on here that I enjoy talking to. That's about it really. I suppose the news articles gave me some information.

A lot.

Back in September 2010 Greg Tito posted a news story about an chiptune remix of Cee Lo Green's Fuck You. It's a long story, so basically, after a long series of luck and coincidences I ended up learning what I want to do with my life, pulled myself out of depression, and now have a relatively steady career path and much more (see: more than zero) confidence.
I'm trying to connect Chiptune Cee Lo Green to "I Fix'd My Life", but my brain is failing me. Explain? (Only if you want to.)
It's a very, very indirect connection. I've written about it a few times, I'll see if I can find one of those.

Speak for yourself. I haven't seen an ad in over a year, and I give credit to the site for connecting me to so many interesting people, videos and articles.

If the site truly isn't giving you at least enjoyment, then why on God's green Earth are you here?

That false sense of validation when someone you'll never meet agrees with you about something. Something to do when there's downtime throughout the day. Yahtzee and Jim, of course.

Somewhere to get pleasant and useful advice, somewhere I fit in well, many, many laughs. And sometimes a place to talk absolute bollocks for a while.

Also an internet haven where punctuation, grammar, spelling, and correct use of 'their', 'there', and 'they're' actually, you know, exist

A deeper understanding of the self-destructive nature of the human condition.

On some of the more ridiculous forum posts, a headache...

Plenty of cool videos and columns that are fun.

Lets see...

Many new games I'd never try otherwise, a place to post my thoughts on games in review form, a giant palm print on my face, a face shaped hole in my desk, new friends, really close friends and possibly genital warts.

But yeah, it's been fun overall.

Hmmm....
Many hours of entertainment.
Some friends.
A desire to try Irn Bru, which I cannot find at any stores around here, even the so-called international ones.
Many laughs.
Some very interesting/insightful perspectives.
A chance to sound off about anime that I like and why.
Chances to show off my mighty geek knowledge of old Dr. Who.
Just last night introduced me to the wonderful music of Celtic Woman.
A chance to use my mighty bonemerang attack! (To preserve peace, of course).

And the biiiig one.....
got me to try MLP:FIM, which my daughter & I now absolutely *LOVE*!
