Oh yeah, what about Celine Dion?

BLAME CANNADAAA.

Just kidding I've never even listened to hear and it's aboot time people stopped making fun of Canada.

*AHEM*

Britain literally made Australia and the USA so we take credit in everything both those countries have done. That is all.

To those guys claiming that the colossus was the first computer, Konrad Zuse had already developed the Z1, Z2 and Z3 when the colossus were finished.
That means the computer is a german development.

Canada gave the world that robot arm on the space station.......... so that's pretty cool.
I believe it was a Canadian man who invented the M1 Garand. Which was quite a useful thing in World War II.......if a little annoying when it made that reloading sound.
And the movie "Juno" ...........best.....*sniff*.......hipster.............romance...........ever
...........what was that other thing from Canada again?
Oh riiiiiiiiiiiiight

Australia invented what Americans mistakenly call "boxed wine". University students the world over should be familiar with this.

The US... so,
Without which modern machinery (and, by extension, all of the first-world conveniences you enjoy) would still be cost-prohibitive to manufacture. You're welcome.
but does it blend?
If you make a blender with it, sure...

You're welcome.
Sorry to burst your bubble but Rock was invented in the US
I'm british and I agree. Though we did give the Beatles :p
Exactly, just like Techno/House Music; the US invented it and then Britain and the rest of Europe perfected it

Finland?

Shittons of good music.

I think most metal nerds here can agree

Also ice-skates, sauna, Linux, 3DMark, salty licorice, etc. Tiny things.

The US Government in league with John Boyd, Invented the "HUD" Every game player in the world needs to get on their knees and show some appreciation.(at very least to Boyd, but he wouldn't have managed it without our cash.)

AND the telephone dammit!
Since when did Canada invent the telephone? Ill concede that lots of people claim to have invented it first but Alexander Graham Bell was the first to actually patent it and get it working properly with voice (not just tone).

A quick flick through this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Invention_of_the_telephone shows that there doesnt even appear to be a Canadian anywhere on that list though?

As for stuff my country has given you? Well, lets take a look at how Scotland has carried the world's ass into the modern century: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottish_inventions_and_discoveries
The telephone was invented by an Italian-American, Alexander Graham Bell stole the design and patented it.

Letterpress and the Otto engine (plus the best cars in the world), just to name two of the most important inventions in the history of humanity. Don't mention it.
