What have you been called weird for?

Whenever I get excited I start speaking very quickly. And whenever someone brings up physics that happens. Luckily I get excited by few things.

This describes me as well.

The discrimination, bigotry and outright hatred gets annoying sometimes though.

Understandable, but then again so is the hatred. To want to do certain things to children, who aren't even equipped to deal with it, it invokes a protectionist response of people. Some would say you're a ticking time bomb, but I won't judge about that. To know you can't really do anything about those sort of those feelings must feel, well, shit, I reckon.

Which slightly reminds me of something of a sexual nature as well. I got called weird for not liking those typical modern videoclips filled with scantly, and often scrawny, women. My dad just plainly said "What are you, gay or something?" I'm so sorry dad that I actually have taste and a certain amount of class you apparently do not possess.

Dad apparently thinks that "sexy" equals displaying gratuitous amounts of skin, preferably nothing. Simple thing.

Actually, it has been shown that such relationships actually benefit children, but that is for an entirely different discussion.

My face looks weird, my clothes are weird, I'm weird because I'm a girl and I play video games (inb4 the kids in my geography class go OOO DO YOU PLAY MW2?!?! And I say nope I play the first one though, and they tell me that Mw1 is gay.), and.. Well I don't talk to anyone. At all. If I say anything during the school day it's a suprise, not that anyone even pays attention to me or not. So I guess I'm just that weird kid. T^T

I do it all the time. It's delicious! Well actually, I dip it in mah milkshake, but same concept.

OT: I wear different colored socks, I don't balk at having to ask total strangers random question and/or give random compliments, I knit (apparently this is weird), I sing out loud while walking with friends, and I do the "z-formation" with my homies (apparently there are a LOT of variations... I've yet to meet someone who does the same version as my friend's and mine), etc. Oh, I also think steak on rice is blasphemous. I've been called weird for all the above.

Personally, I don't think I'm that weird though. Just a teenager.

Mentioning the "afternoon cartoons" I used to watch as a kid. Turns out barely any of my friends know of, let alone watched, the best stuff that used to be on.
Animaniacs, Tiny Toon Adventures, Goof Troop, Ducktales... Well, they're the ones that missed out.
