What if Joan of Arc didn't die at age 19, but survived the Hundred(and twenty) Years War? Would she still be a saint?
What if Columbus never returned to Europe from his voyages, would people have lived in fear of the world's flatness for another century or two? The USA would never have been, I presume.
In an expansion to that question: What if Native Americans suddenly had an industrial revolution a century before we had ours(~1900(and not been slaughtered as a result of the Columbus disappearing thing)).
