French Horn and Mellophone.

I can pick out a tune or two on the piano as well. I was always envious of how string players could whip out their guitar or whatever, and start playing. People gather, sing along, etc. If you do that with brass, you won't get through the first 3 measures before fruit comes flying your way.
Can you tell me what a mellophone is?
It's like a trumpet on 'roids. Marching with a French Horn is rather unwieldy, so they basically took the curves out of it, and faced the bell to the front.

I "play" trombone and guitar. The quotations are because I'm awful at the trombone. I like to think i'm pretty decent at guitar though.

I drum, I play the drums, and I am a drummer. Oh, and bongos, djembe, cowbell, and various other percussive instruments. I tried piano for a while but got bored.

I play the String Bass/Contrabass/Double Bass, which are all different names for the same thing. (it's like a cello, but even bigger. If you don't know what that is, imagine a Violin that's taller than you are, and you have to stand up to play it.)
I also play Electric and Acoustic guitars, and I played Piano several years ago, and Clarinet as well.

Oh, and to this day, Violins and Violas don't look like legitimate instruments to me, they look like scale models of String Basses.

I played the Violin for around six years when I was small and absolutely hated it but continued to play because I felt I would dissapoint my family if I stopped. A few years later I decided to stop and take up the drums and have been enjoying every moment of it since.
I also played the Marimba for a few months but it was taken away a few days ago because renting it was becoming too expensive.
This sounds similar to what happened with me. I played clarinet because my family wanted me to get into music but I was indifferent about what instrument to play, and so I just went with what instrument was needed at my middle school band program. For years I played that instrument, but there was no real motivation to improve. Eventually, I started playing marimba and other mallet instruments out of curiosity, and I have been addicted ever since. I've wanted my own marimba for the longest time, but cannot afford it, so I use my school's instruments and often my instructor's marimba as well.

To sum that up, I play clarinet, some percussion, and any mallet instrument (Marimba, Vibraphone, Glockenspiel/Bells, and Xylophone.) My main instrument however is definitely marimba.

Because there is an art and a talent to the different types of guitar, I play:

Electric guitar, Ibanez RGT42DXFM, styles are mainly metal (of all sorts), and blues.

I cover Flyleaf, Paramore, Dethklok, and Arch Enemy.

Just because you play an acoustic guitar, doesn't mean you can perform a pinch harmonic. Same goes both ways. Just saying.
