I'll answer that if you can tell me what's wrong with other people wanting the opposite: To be left alone when they feel that solitude and personal thought is key instead.Moth_Monk said:Question: What is actually wrong with someone wanting attention and/or sympathy?
I'm pretty sure at this point "is crap" works for any of those... So whats the perpose of'em now.subtlefuge said:Edit: I'm never kind to the captchas that ask me to describe a brand in whatever words I want.
The worst thing is when someone is like that and when you try to comfort them they start being all pedantic and bitchy.EeveeElectro said:It depends on how much of your attention/sympathy they want.
I used to know a girl who was constantly moaning about the most trivial fucking things.
"I've lost my make-up bag, fml. I have no money left cause I spent it on booze fml. I'm sat opposite an ugly person in this restaurant, fml. I'm sooooo badly done to!"
There's only so much sympathy I can give someone. If you're always bitching and refusing my advice then I'm gonna give up on you. A cry of help from someone who genuinely needs it, and I'll always try help with their problems.
I've lost count the amount of times I've wanted a bit if sympathy or someone to talk to and they dismiss my problem as unimportant or just don't care. I always try give a helping hand when I can, I just don't like people who take the piss with it.
