I use photoshop, so here is one of the things I would like to use

And to add in the manifesto of anime girls, here is also what I would use

Without a specific show would be this

But in the end, here is what I use

Personally, I'm using a painting as a desktop image. I've yet to hear any complaints about it.

I don't get offended or bothered at all when I see a guy with a softcore/somewhat unclothed anime/realistic woman on his wallpaper.

Does it have a lot to do with the fact that I put softcore yaoi(sometimes hentai) on my desktop? Probably.

The only thing is that I only do that to my home-computer. If I happen to travel or visit my school library with my labtop, I tone it down pretty drastically.

But seeing as I'm not a man...I won't share my wallpaper. Enjoy your thread fellas!

I'm having this with posters in my room.. I now have most game posters and actually nothing with girls or nudity on it.. Just because i have the feeling that for example my family will think its weird..

On the other hand, a friend of mine has a HUGE naked chick poster (dont know her name) and his parents act like its completely normal.. If i'd hang that up i'm 100% sure for comments.

Not bad comments maybe, but those that make you feel embarrased. Any opinions on this?

That ... that is brilliant.

The last 5 wallpapers I've used, in approximate chronological order:

1. Caracal
2. Another caracal
3. Bobcat
4. Eurasian lynx
5. Another eurasian lynx

Nothing unsafe about cats, everybody loves cats ... well, sane people do.

Look how pretty it is!
I myself opt for a similar version except it is grey.

If the girl had worn that much armor and a helmet, I'm sure nobody would've cared to make remarks about it.
Your points are well made, and I do agree the level of sexualisation is very different but within context a muscle bound group of men in armor or a woman standing in a coat should be on a similar level - but because of who decided to displayit this creates the eyebrow raising.

Also, not that I am a poor sport or anything but here is a spartan-lady:

Alright its a fanart, but it's not that easy to find one!
Given that the armor has specially molded breast pockets, I'd say it's pretty silly. Last time I checked, the only armor I've ever seen that offers such things were the chest protector used in fencing. Body armor is, generally speaking, not designed with comfort in mind. Just look at any women currently serving in militaries using body armor and you'll note a distinct lack concern for adhering to a given form.

I'm just going through a phase of loving anything Wild ARMs related at the moment. Leading me to find this tucked away on the internet.
The original picture is huge and much larger than I needed though, though a having a higher resolution copy doesn't hurt, it may come in handy if I ever upgrade, which is unlikely.
I probably like it too much, as I even found a way to hide all my desktop icons so they didn't clutter it up.
I think I may just be posting this because I can, I tend to have this strange thing to share my current wallpaper with people, no idea why.

I have a Screenshot of RA2 for my desktop.

All the glory of war but instead of muscles, big, impending zepplins.

That's what real men have.
Airships are always a suitable desktop. always.
My current desktop.

Combined with my beautiful custom theme, it's pretty manly. Maybe I should retexture the start menu with some mahogany.
The default themes suck ass, so I made this one with love, passion and some 3D software.

Oh my God. Your avatar. I was JUST talking to my friend about their resemblance the other day! You, my good sir, made my day. Thank you.

OT: Currently, I have a Muse background. I pretty much always have a Muse/Matt Bellamy background.
