I describe air temperature from 45-60 to be cool.
Oh, look at me, not laughing. I never would have guessed that someone would say cool as if it were literal.

I'd say 14-20 if we're talking Celsius. Wind however, can make it feel much colder than it really is.

I dunno...cool is like "explicit" pornography. You can't really describe it, but you know it when you see it.

If I had to say anything, "cool" is the ability to stay calm and collected no matter what, or at least give off the vibe that, should things go crazy, you'd be able to handle yourself no problem. Thats the problem most people have with "dorky" people is that they are, or at least seem, helpless in the real world. They could be geniuses in their chosen field, but you pull them out of the bubble and they are clueless.

I'm not using Celsius, I'm American, so I'm using Fahrenheit and like a real American I can't be assed to explain why.

No explanation needed. Just pointing it out.

A truly horrible word, one thats makes me cringe whenever I here it.

Why? As it comes from the days of the slave trade when the only way for a slave to retain any meagre semblance of dignity was too act like he didnt notice how horrible his life was- "cool" literally means emotionally uninvested in the world around you, seperated from it as a means of ego protection.

Quite frankly fuck that, Id rather be apart of this world no matter how bad it can get at times.

EDIT= Wow ok say hello to the random rant from outerspace.
