what is generic?

i am completely fed up with hollywood making random movies with guns explosions good guys winning with zero casualties an evil bad guy who dies in the end and a slow motion car crash,so hollywood is trying to make a quick buck, so pretty much what do you find generic?

Guy has a point. My understanding of the proper meaning of generic is that is sums up its genre. Which would be a good thing as people ENJOY Genre Movies/games/media.

Generic is an RTS. Same thing everytime. You got 3 factions. Each with a focus. One is slow to build up, but powerful. One is quick to build, usually the rushers. One strike a balance, and is generally the single player campaign focus.

Anything that takes a worthless woman and tries to make her look "strong"
The stripper out of a cake who comes out in the middile of a terrorist take over, screws up every last second, then at the end of the movie the bad guys bout to ice the hero and all of a sudden a gun shot rings out, bad guy falls and there is the "fake strong" woman behind him holding a gun.

Gimmie Sarah Conner (movies not that trash tv show) and Ripley from Aliens....
