Overwatch isn't a year installment. It hasn't even come out yet.

But to be fair B-Cell you will probably hate it. After all your worst game ever was the Tomb Raider reboot. So there is no way that Overwatch will satisfy your incredibly high bar of quality gaming.

What is so great about Overwatch? Well, it's not Doom, Shadow Warrior or any of those type of games. It's a different take on TF2's good formula combined with a MOBA skillset. Definitely up my alley since I liked LoL and spent 200 hours on TF2.

According to the internet today it was apparently Tracers arse.

Also it has charm to it, it's an FPS with some TF2 shenanigans for those bored with TF2 really...

That just means Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed and Battlefield are even more established and respected than Doom and Shadow Warrior.

They're so established and respected that they get a new game nearly every year, while Doom and Shadow Warrior are only established and respected enough to get about one game per decade.
Yup. If Doom is so great, why did it only have three games out so far? That makes them, on average, take more than five years between instalments. Shadow Warrior is even worse with more than 16 years between instalments. That's, quite literally more than Duke Nukem Forever.

Some highly sought games, there. Not.

Why do people ever bother to explain anything to B-Cell? He won't listen, he just wants more reasons to mention how manly and badass Doom and Deus Ex is.

How hyped are you for the new COD game?
I can't speak for B-cell (though I suspect he's likely to hate the new COD just as much as he seems to hate Overwatch), but honestly? I'm fairly excited. I could go for a full-on, far-future sci-fi shooter. Maybe Infinity Ward can inject some much needed 'un-realism' into the standard Call of Duty formula. Setting it in the far off future is a good start.

I mean, as dumb as the story was overall, COD: Ghosts had some fantastic set pieces and individual sequences. Among them the opening space segment. So a COD game built, at least in part, around that concept I'm all for. And as long as we get similar aesthetics and movement systems to those in Advanced Warfare and Black Ops 3, I'm sold.

Plus, I could use something to tide me over until Titanfall 2 releases.

Please, please, please tell me you created this account as some kind of performance art mocking dudebros. There is no way you unironically just said, "They are manly and badass..."

Also: Why did you say hello twice in the OP? Seems redundant.

take LoL, TF2, and Pixar blend them together and you get Overwatch. Put a studio like Blizzard behind it and you're in for a treat!
As a Diablo 3 player I can say that Blizzard listen to its fans and confuses updates with DLC and gives them away free of charge

also there's a gorilla with glasses... a GORILLA with glasses! What's not to like?

It might be a very cleverly disguised nod at all of this being a parody.

Or...maybe not. I fear we may never actually know for sure.

As to "what's so great about it", I don't put a lot of stock in "What's so great about this stupid thing I hate, tell me what is so I can argue with you" threads. There needs to be some evidence of good will, or of genuinely wanting to be convinced that you're overlooking a critical element. Otherwise you're just grinding axes. Pretty sure they have blogs for that.
Can we get this slapped to the top of the thread somehow? Make it be seen first thing so we can say "Well, thread's done."

It looks fun? That's about the long short of it. It looks blasty, crazy and overall good looking fun. But nawwww, fun isn't "Manly and badass" and isn't for "hardcore gamers," whatever the fuck that's supposed to mean. Being a "hardcore gamer" and wearing that as a tagline probably means you're not "hardcore." Make the game brown and grey, have gruff guys who sound like their throats are filled with gravel, and you've got a "maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan's game, HUAH!" Am I wrong? I'd love to hear how I'm wrong.

I dunno if Overwatch interests me toooo much, but it does look rather fun. Battleborn sounds like a blast too, so maybe I'll try either when a sale comes up.

Maybe it's just a way of assuring us that there's nothing suspicious going on.

I take it B-Cell does this often? I have no interest in Overwatch, but it does have a fun, unique art style going for it. And the character designs look pretty good. Probably because it's not another COD/Battlfield/Spunkgargleweewee clone. Instead, Overwatch is getting its inspirations from Team Fortress 2; nothing wrong with that. There are almost no TF2 style games in the market, so huray for variety.

Hmm... I've seen the girl with the goggles quite a bit on western hentai sites.
That's because Tracer is smoking hot. Plus I'm a sucker for Cockney accents. Guys or girls. I can watch BBC America and just be entranced by the voices, content be damned.

B-Cell makes these threads about twice a week. Either a PSA on how awesome one of his favorite shooters is, or how horrible everything other than his favorite shooters are. No real discussion value to speak of, just that.

From what I've seen, B-Cell pretty much hatred everything popular.

Also, Splatoon is a good multiplayer game. Hell TF2 fans apparently love Splatoon.

Holy hell. That's some next level meta-parody...

...if true. I feel it's not. His threads and replies feel too...genuine.

Or maybe that's yet another layer of the shtick? Gah! I don't know. I've seen too much absurdity on the internet to know what's truly sincere or not.

I don't have any interest in buying the game, but I don't see how you can say it looks generic. How many generic shooters have you being a teleporting reaper, or a time rewinding scout, or a flying rocketeer, or.... just glancing through the character list, I'd say I could go on for a long time, but given your past threads, that would be pointless.
