It isn't nearly as difficult as you'd think; none of Matt's guitar work is overly difficult. It's all brilliant, but none of it is very difficult.aLivingPheonix said:
I wouldn't know where to start for the 'best guitar solo ever', because there is simply far too much to consider... The guitar solo in Time by Pink Floyd has to be a contender though. Also Adrian Belew's solo in Elephant Talk (King Crimson).
My favorite is the solo from "All Day and All of the Night" by The Kinks. It's incredibly simple to play but sounds awesome with the rest of the song.
