Seconded here. CT is a game that still resonates within the core of my being. Probably one of life's greatest lessons ever told was by Belthasar during that sad, sad moment in the game:R.Nevermore said:This.GlenTheFox said:I'd have to say that my top single-player game would have to be Chrono Trigger; it's very well written, does time travel extremely well, and it's interesting enough to make me want to keep going back to play it over and over again.
Chrono Trigger is a game I still frequently cite as the greatest game ever made.

I'm pretty sure mine would be Fallout 3, as I have about 85 hours on my play-through and still have not been to every location, gotten every unique weapon, every bobble-head so technically (from a rabid completionist's standpoint) I have not truly beaten it. Leave your personal choice along with the reason why.
Yep, I have- that's what got me into the Tales series, actually. Vesperia's a great game. I prefer Symphonia, but Vesperia definitely has a few strengths Symphonia doesn't (like the ability to free run in battle, for one). Of the Tales series, I've played Vesperia, Abyss, Symphonia, and Phantasia, heh.4RM3D said:Did you try Tales of Vesperia? I've never played a Tales game before, because I didn't have a console for which the games were released. Then Tales of Vesperia came along on the Xbox360 (and eventually PS3). It's a pretty awesome game. Though it's old school and doesn't try anything new, it did do everything right.LiberalSquirrel said:-points to avatar- Tales of Symphonia is one of my favorite games of all time, if not my all-time favorite. I enjoyed it going through single-player, and have replayed it multiple times. It may not be perfect, but I adore it.
Of course, there are several other single-player games that I like (I play single-player games much, much more often than multiplayer, and judge games based on their single player mode alone), but I can't think of any I prefer over Tales of Symphonia. At least off the top of my head.
sILENT HILL 1 and 2, Syphon Filter ruled when I was little till Metal Gear Solid blew it out of the water. Recently I agree with Fallout 3, New Vegas wasn't quit as good because of the lack of.. well evreything.. Tho I did appreciate the tweaks to formula, just hated the initial bugs when it was released. Lol to Docs spinning demon head.Mallefunction said:In terms of how magical my experience was: Bioshock (Yes, I even loved the cheesy ending, SHUT IT)
Replay value: Silent Hill 2 (Always find something new because of that damn fog)
Of course, this is all personal opinion.
