It has to be the giggle for me. Starts off quite low, getting to high pitched and then silence as they can't breath (tears added is even better). It's so infectious.

I'm not aware of actual categories with defined terms for laughter, but whatever it is Jesse Cox and Sean Plott do. I've actually just listened to clips of them laughing and it makes me smile. I guess it's an over-the-top happy laugh? Something like that.

EDIT: 9 and a half minutes of Jesse Cox joy:

one of my ex girlfriends had this laugh that was to die for, if it was a good one it usually started off with her being silent because her sides were about to be in massive hurt from sucking in so much air, then she'd unleash a ridiculous "sand people" war cry.

not kidding, in the slightest...it was the weirdest thing ever, but holy hell was it so fucking funny when she was crying from laughing, you would swear sand people were raiding the next door house XD

we finally recorded it one time and showed it to her, and she had NO IDEA she laughed like that, after that she got super self conscious about the laugh lol, but she's gotten over it since then.

also, any laugh that has some kind of high pitch squeak in there, usually involuntary but always ends up being funny

The one that's starts with "HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHA!" etc.

You know, the kind that people let out when they play Frog Fractions.

My friend was talking in a manic stream-of-consciousness while playing Frog Fractions until he the dragon sailed off into space, at which point he let out a confused war whoop that turned into laughter.

...hmmhmmhmmhehehehe

But seriously, I dunno, the kind of laugh that's easy to follow, maybe? It's one of the things I love about the Freelance Astronauts' LPs.

It's an extremely cheesy answer but; my partner's.

She has this rich, deep and guffawing laugh that comes right from her gut and it ends in this adorable giggle. I've heard nothing sweeter.

Jimmy Carr's laugh, hands down. They should build a laughtrack around his laugh and add it to The Big Bang Theory. Might render that show actually funny.

The Demoman's laugh from Team Fortress 2, in particular the one where he tries to talk partway though, but can't since he's laughing too hard :p
