Shogun 2 for me as well. Ahh, nostalgia... I remember the days when a DVD size was considered huge.
Dude, I remember when games started coming out on two CDs. Otherwise, you could comfortably fit several games onto one CD, size-wise. I'm pretty sure somebody can top that up with multiple floppy disks or whatever - my point is, things have gone a lo-o-ong way.
OT: Currently biggest game installed - Heroes 6 at 9.1 GB. I'm sure I've seen even larger ones, I can't remember names at the moment, though. Skyrim, perhaps. I think the largest game I've seen in person has been in the order of 15 GB or so. But i stopped really paying attention when I got a large enough HDD to...not care about it. Every once in a while, I just have to uninstall a couple of games, and BAM I have lots of free space.
I've been amazed at how bog some of the games were. I mean, seriously amazed, not as in "Dude, I'm so old fashioned, lol" - Might and Magic Clash of Heroes was
enormous. I've got no idea where all the data comes from. I think it was 3 gig or more. When I saw that I couldn't believe my eyes. For the record, Clash of Heroes is a nice little game, but it's that - little. Not really expecting much more than a gig out of it. If anybody has it installed - can you doublecheck for me, I think most of the size came from having the sounds uncompressed. I have a vague recollection of being shocked at that, though it might have not been Clash of Heroes.
