What is the most rediculous thing someone has said to you as a matter of fact about a video game...

One of the kids in my school was telling me that they are making a Zelda game for Xbox and he heard from a 'reliable source' (He said it was in a video game magazine). I told him to check to see if it was a April Fools edition or w/e and bet him 50 dollars that it would never come out. I still don't have that 50 dollars .

Seriously though, I have heard some pretty stupid stories about Mew. Like how you can push the Truck outside the S.S. What'sitcalled if you have a ridiculously specific party, all at level 100 without using the rare candy cheat, the there are stairs under it leading to a room containing a Mew Pokeball.

Having lived most of my life in the nerd capital of the United States (Greater Seattle), I haven't heard anything like this (except the stuff about Mew in Pokemon, but that was elementary school). People there either know what they're talking about, or don't and keep quiet.

Okay i admit its blinkin annoying to put music on the 360, but if you use the cd you blinkin well can store music on the xbox, please don't argue with me over this seeing as i have several CD's stored on my 360 and am, in fact, listening to one right now!

On that note, i have heard this many times before and it always gets on my nerves, specifically when people are saying it doesn't and that they have tried it with their ipod or an ordinary memory stick.

sure you can rip music, but that is ripping, you know what i mean by storing, as in actually using the 120gb hhd for something, especially since the marketplace is practically stripped down to only game demoes and arcade games in the european version. but anyway what i meant was that the 360 was advertised as being capable of storing media, with a but. which led to the misconception, microsoft advertisers are good, no doubt about that

Fair enough, and in all honesty the no swearing is a personal thing, i just prefer not to.

anytime someone says they like pokemon or star fox, i die a little inside. that and when people say that they think navi was the most annoying thing ever. i didnt really think that, and you have to admit there are a lot of helper characters who were worse. and people who think that halo is so great that it must be made of the very fabric from which the material of the universe is cut. and people who say that there is a way to get digimon in one of the pokemon games.
