Right I remember now. To get mew, surf out to the ss anne and use strength to push it. You will then find mew.

In and of itself, this doesn't seem to be that stupid. It was compounded though by the fact that this guy had beaten Fallout 1 and 2 countless times, and knew the skill system.

I even disproved it by going to the Metal Gear wiki and showing to him that his real name is David.

No. Surf out to the ss anne, then use strength to push it. You will then be confronted my Mew. That's what happenned to me.
