You know, I finally actually heard that line in Skyrim yesterday from a guard who was just walking past me. I wasn't even talking to him, he just decided to talk at me anyway. Nevertheless, I didn't find that all that funny, possibly because it had been ruined for my by the Internet first much like "the cake is a lie" had.

EDIT: BTW has anyone else noticed that all the guards in Skyrim sound like someone doing a bad impersonation of Arnold Schwarzenegger?

Maybe not the funniest ever, but "there's a giant tentacle blocking the transport door" from Dead Space 2 is still a personal favourite of mine. It's just the matter-of-fact way that Isaac says it that gets me chuckling every time, as if giant alien tentacles are a normal, everyday inconvenience for him.

Curse my speakers not working today.

I had one in Rogue Squadron (I think). It was an escort/protection mission and I had played the game so many times I got bored and started shooting the troop carriers I was protecting. As I shot one down, I got shot down myself and my ship crashed into another that exploded as well. "Great job! Keep it up!" the commander said in such a positive voice.

Hmm, i'd go with every single line Thor has in UMVC3, especially one of his Hypers "Buy Odin's Beer! MIGHTY TORNADO!"

He actually has a move where he just talks at you... In a fighting game. He has to throw the word "mighty" around like it's going out of fashion. Narm charm indeed

Also Phoenix Wright's entire moveset. I'm sure the people who use the more... Fightier, erm fighters must rage a little bit when their Interdimensional Space Being is defeated by being talked at for around 20 seconds. I like to think the entire match is all one big metaphor for PW's court cases...
