What is the pettiest reason you wouldn't go out with someone or cause you to break up with someone?

I've terminated a date before because I got a booty call from another chick.

Why not have both? Invite your date to the place of the booty call. See what happens ... after all it's not like the ending is any less unhappy for the primary party, but then again the potential lay in something wonderful. Or awkward ... of course.

As far as I was concerned, I was the primary party and that scenario could go south in a hurry.

All said, I didn't optimize the situation. The date told me the next day she had wanted to get freaky after the date, so I could have just waited it out a little bit, slept with her, then bounced and slept with the booty call chick after that. Which I've done before.

Oh well, regrets.

We went on one date. He had horrible, rotten and missing teeth. I remember saying on a dating page that good hygiene/oral hygiene is a must if I want to date someone and loads of people (all men) jumped on me for it saying I was shallow and petty and disgusting.
I've lost count of the men who say "I wouldn't date a fat *****/someone taller than me/someone with dyed hair/someone who isn't a virgin, etc" but god fucking forbid I have standards. I don't want anyone's mouth near me if it's mucky. Fuck knows what the state of his dick must have been like, I didn't stick around long enough to find out.

As a guy that doesn't sound remotely petty to me. Slightly crooked or off-white teeth being a turn-off might be considered a bit petty but rotten and missing teeth is not only gross on its own but its an indicator of general poor health, hygiene and living standards which are really important. Plus I'm not putting any part of myself in something that I'd need a tetanus shot for afterwards.

On a side note... how many guys have said to you that they would only date virgins? That sounds hilariously antiquated to me, I'd much rather date someone who actually knows what they're doing and has an understanding of their own body and sexuality... basically what I'm trying to say is that virgins are overrated.

If I can, I'll try dig up a screenshot of a profile I saw on a dating site that is just so creepy. The guy was basically saying "you must be no older than 24 (after February) and being a virgin is a must as I am too but I like to participate if people are having sex."
How the hell that made sense, I don't know. It was a real serial killer sort of profile e_e
Some guys have also said after a woman has had a certain amount of sexual partners they don't want them because they're "slags".

I don't know how I end up knowing so many scumbags.

Yes, actually. A species of reptiles lost the male sex due to a disease, so the females had to manage reproduction without males. I don't remember its name though.

Too short.

The reason being that I once dated a girl who was only 5'2" and petite, compared to my own fairly well-built 6'6". It created some physical problems, both in and out of the bedroom (other things were equally proportionate to our size than just height and build). It wasn't the reason we broke up though, that was for entirely different reasons that aren't relevant to this thread. Other than that it was a good relationship though.

It might sound petty, but I after simply preferred women somewhat closer to my own size.

I'm male but jeez, how often i heared that line or was told it by someone afterwards: "You're to short". I'm roughly *calculates it into that strange system* 5"5' and apparently that's a no go for way to many women.
And it's not like these girls were +6", nope. Most of them were either the same height or even slightly smaller.

OT though:
It's a tough question, because all i can think of while going through a list of "don'ts" in my head are rather major points and nothing petty.
