Haha! Your not the only one to suffer from the first and last game. I thought the idea behind Robot Wars (The Game) was great, it's just I couldn't stand:
A.) Philippa Forrester's "tutorials" during the menu screens for the umpteenth time. (Note, "Umpteenth" is actually in the FireFox British English Dictionary.)
B.) The House Robots were a little too easy to beat when one puts enough thought in them.
C.) No Fur iirc, how was I supposed to recreate Nemesis...?
D.) Some of the Maps were a bit too ridiculously difficult for me and were awfully expensive just to "pay" for them as well...
For me the worst part was that the only way to have a decent chance of victory was to destroy every other robot, thus winning by default. And the only way to do that was to use the arena traps like crazy which made you feel really cheap.

I guess it'd have to be Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. I'm a review-reader, so I tend to stay away from the real bombs, but I got F4 for free (instead of the t-shirt I wanted) with my Halo 3 Limited Edition set. I figured, "free game, why not?" After about an hour, I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt. I mean, even Yaris was more fun.

As to people whining about award-winning titles being the suXXXors, well, if one of those is the worst game you've played you're very lucky; congratulations on missing the many games that everyone can agree were duds. (ET, Superman64, Big Rigs, etc.)

Star Wars Force Commander. Impossible controls and interface design. If there ever was a sign that Lucasarts was about to take a turn for the worse, this was the canary in the coal mine.

Tough call. Superman 64 is pretty high up there. There was also that Earthworm Jim 3D game for the 64 that was pretty bad. The very worst though, I'm going to have to say is ET for the Atari. For sure.

I'm "fortunate" enough to have just seen Custer's Revenge back in the day but since I didn't actually play it. I cross it off, thankfully. The same for Superman 64.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Ninja Gaiden 2 for 360, just because this game will go down in my personal history as the only game that nearly made me throw my controller through my flatscreen. When Ninja Gaiden 2 came out, I was ecstatic as hell. The original for XBox was great for me. I truly felt tangible sense of improvement and it showed with how far you got in the game. I felt the XBox Ninja Gaiden was long, entertaining test of skill.

Ninja Gaiden 2? Not so much.

It was just seemingly random things I had to do in this game that I didn't in Ninja Gaiden for XBox. At times I felt like the game punished me for not spamming magic at every opportunity, which was supremely annoying, but I could almost deal with it. What was skin-peelingly frustrating was the fact that whatever was working the camera had apparently been bribed by the bad guys to help them kill you.

I don't mind getting attacked by eight enemies at once.
I don't mind them having ridiculous attacks that involve explosions.
I don't mind occasionally being sniped by a long range attacker.
All I ask is when everything goes down and I'm fighting all these things at once, I CAN SEE WHAT'S ATTACKING ME.

No matter what I did with the camera, the camera eventually found a way to watch the action to where enemies constantly jumped from off-screen or around random corners, clipping off chunks of my health. I never did finish that game.

Michael Jackson's Moonwalker
Are you serious, it's prolly the most quirky game ever. The fact u play michael trying to rescue kids is a funny start. Who dosen't enjoy killing thugs by throwing your hat after a moonwalk. I found it personally enjoyable. Worst game ever is ET due to its buggyness etc.

Worst game i've played is: Final fantasy X-2 it brought me soo little satisfaction after the fight system etc of FFX.

Zorro. That toned down piece of crap looked good on the back, but you had to go into some kind of rubbish game design which broke the game's flow, then gave you cruddy fighting mechanics, which a child wouldnt be able to handle.

So overall, i brought a game which was toned down for children, which was still rather hard for adults.
