What is up with red dead redemption multiplayer?

Hi

so i've been playing red dead for a week now, and everytime i played the multiplayer, i will be the only player that is in the lobby, it's been going on for 5 days now

any of you got the same issue?

yep, i'm sure i go to the public one, i even tried to go to the private ones. and changing to a new free roam lobby doesn't help

Yeah i noticed that as well, my PS3 broke and in about a 3 weeks after i fixed i thought i'll try out the multiplayer, no one but tomball weeds.

Happens to me once in a while too but after a couple of minutes other player icons pop up on the map. Try playing it for 10, 20 minutes and check out if new players appear on the map. If not you should check your connection/NAT settings.

I suggest you join the online mode rather then joining the offline lobby

The game automatically throws into the emptiest lobby it can find.

...No, I don't understand it either.

To be honest your not missing all that much. Red Dead's multiplayer is brilliant in it's ideas but the game itself is pretty boring and repetitive.

If you are by yourself you don't have to worry about Red Dead Redemption's most dangerous predator, noobs with the High Power Pistol.

In my opinion the game is better with only you and your friends.

Its retarded, I can't even get into a game, I get removed due to connection issues almost every time I tried, I got into 1 game before, that was pretty good, haven't had any luck since though.

How do I check the NAT settings? Well, I can play MAG smoothly though

I'd have to agree on the fact that you're lucky, and you're just getting it better with very few people and not as many people that will randomly kill you for..well....leveling up.
