My favorite class has to be the search button, it allows you to not repeat my threads.

Lol, this isn't the same at all. You were asking for types not specific classes.

I'm going to go with a non-elemental mage or support mage. The only one i have really liked was in Final Fantasy 12 and it consisted of all the spells that had something to do with status ailments or benefits(float, haste, posion, decoy, beserk, slow). I dont know i just loved having all the buffs and debuffs at my disposal

I basically like any class that deals out the pain, which usually means a Barbarian or Warrior for me (so long as they're not too tanking-focused).
I used to not mind rogues/assassins, but they're too stealthy and hide-y for my taste.
I don't mind playing ranged dps now and then, like an archer or a mage/wizard/sorcerer/warlock, but i can never resist the temptation to be a big muscly guy and run at the enemy while wearing very little clothing, holding a huge club in my hands and roaring at the top of my voice. :)

Assassin. I'm the "Get close and fuck up, but with style" kind of guy.
Isn't that equivalent to "Get close and fail hard, but with style"? Feral druids of WoW used to be like that once upon a time.

(I'm not trying to be a wiseass, I understood what NoMoreSanity meant. Nor is my question rhetorical. I'm not a native English speaker and would actually like to know if "fuck up" can stand for "kicking ass" even when it doesn't have an object to go with it "fuck some Goombas up".)

In online games I'm the guy who either heals everybody or plays on the defensive end.
In solo games, I like to play as a Spell caster/Mage, or an assassin, or in the case of Oblivion, both. :p

Oh. Well, when it comes to D&D, I liked the Angel Status(if it can be called a class). Man, with that epic Solar I always busted some heads.

I'm usually a healer or other support class. I'm also partial to close combat. Afterall, any pansie can wield a sniper rifle. It takes true skill to survive hand to hand.

I have to go with a fighter.A very heavily armored fighter with a sword that would make William Wallace jealous.

Even if I sometimes enjoy the subtility of a thief/rogue kind of character,or the awesome death dealing powerhouse that is a wizard tanked up on death magic, most of the time, the best solution is to walk up to the problem and beat it with a large sword.

And that is what the fighter is best at.
Plus I get to wield cool and badass swords/armor.

In like shooters, either an engineer or a medic. In something like Diablo, I was always the Necromancer. Something about making 20 fighting skeletons, 20 magic skeletons and a golem made of blood appealed to me. Or a druid..always loved the werewolf man things.

I prefer the Druid/shapeshifter class myself.

And also Souplex, character class(Warrior, Mage ect.) is different from character jobs(tank DPS Crowd Control) so they are two sepperate ideas, thanks.
