I'm not really sure.
There's a lot I want to be.

Psychologist, writer, photographer, chef, animator, artist... maybe I could combine them all :D

Criminal profiler, or some derivative thereof.
Currently working on a Psychology and Criminal Studies degree, so I might be able to make that dream a reality yet.

I'd like to be an engineer some day. I'm not too sure what engineering discipline I'd like to specialize in, though. Maybe vehicle engineering or structural engineering. I love physics and mechanics and all that, but all the schooling required is quite intimidating.

Ideally, a level designer in the gaming industry. I'm also a decent writer, so I wouldn't mind being a game writer, or working in gaming journalism. Failing all that, I'd love to try acting or working in film, probably as a writer or a director, or maybe as a writer or director in theatre. Retail is an option thanks o my current part-time position in a supermarket, but not my ideal career, and I wouldn't mind teaching in a primary school if I can get the right qualifications to do so... :p

Journalist, or something in that field. That or a film/video editor. I don't have very impressive aspirations. That's all I want, really.

Well, I am looking for my first job, and believe it or not, I really want to work the graveyard shift at my local Speedway. I am a night person, that place always calmed me down, and at night it can't be too busy.
I also kinda want to join the peace corps. just to get around the world a bit.
Or a professional sex haver...yeah that would be cool.

I'd love to be a writer, mostly to get the fairly extensive universe I've worked on for most of my life (started out as playing in it as a kid, stuck with me and expanded as I used it to give a personal twist/interest to videogames). I've written quite a few short stories taking place in it, but they're not that good and since I started reading Warhammer 40K novels I realized just how similar the two universes were, so now my stories look like rip-offs of something I had no knowledge of when I wrote them :/

More realistically, a programmer. Been studying it a couple of years but can't get a grip on the math so it looks like that won't happen either. Will probably end up working a factory floor like my brother.

I seem to gravitate towards game developer, with a noticeable possibility of becoming an indie game developer. I honestly didn't plan to end up with this, as it has been quite a few years since "making games" was what I wanted to do with my life.

I am a very good programmer, and already have shy of 10 years experience (at the meager age of 21). Programming comes to me as naturally as spoken language, if not more so. So I'm already off to a good start. And I really love to work on other aspects of game development (and development in general): Story, game design, system architecture, music, level design, etc. Indie development just seems to allow me to work on enjoy more of these concurrently.

Some of you might even be playing one of my games in the future, or so I hope.

(Related to all of this there is a second job I really passionately want, but that one is behind the curtains for now)

Author. I would be so down living off of what I've written.

However, being a filmmaker is just as appealing.

Robotics engineer or astronomer. Both working for the ESA if possible. I want to shoot stuff in outer space!

Though in case of emergency I think I could also settle with my current job as a paramedic. Not too bad actually.

Mine was a game programmer...before I found out on an article on this very website that they make far less then those in other fields of programming. So now I don't know.
Yeah I'm in the same boat =/
