Most people get confused whenever they see me. People have asked if I'm Italian, Mexican, Cuban, or Persian. No one believes me when I say I'm brown.

My family's really diverse though. My parents were born in Africa and grew up there so they speak Swahili. My older sister was born in Bahrain. I was born in London. My little sister was born here in Texas.
