Characters from all sorts of series have themes, whether they be games, or shows. Whose theme do you enjoy listening to the most? Post them here! :D

Insane, chaotic, powerful and strangely familiar if you've spent too long on Nico Nico Douga - just like the character it represents.

I like both of Phoenix Wright's themes in Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3.
I mean I guess his regular one's okay.
But his "Turnabout Mode" theme is where the poop hits the fan of truth and justice.

Near's theme is pretty badass also Light's Theme basically tells the story of his life if you listen to it closely enough.

Goddammit good sir, European release dates strike once again! Ultimate MVC3 releases on the 18th over in the UK.

This "Turnabout Mode" sounds interesting though, I suppose it's health bar based, maybe like a rage mode but with evidence involved? I don't know...

Probably should start thinking of a decent (Phoenix based) team though...

I too feel your pain in the wait for Friday. Stupid USA gettin' stuff so early.

Trying not to derail the thread too much; Phoenix has his original Investigation mode, where you get evidence. You then manually change to Courtroom mode. If you have all good evidence, shout Objection! at them and you're off and away into Turnabout Mode, not only changing the music to the Cornered theme but not stopping the music until Turnabout mode wears off or Wright goes down.
That's just how good his music is, it cancels out everyone else's.

Deionarra's Theme always makes me feel a little sad, especially knowing the story behind the song and character.

And of course Arthas theme by Blizzard. Love or hate em, they've probably got the highest production values in the entire gaming industry and a sound budget that dwarfs some entire game studios.

Oh god, so many to choose from, but I'll try to narrow some down.

Kefkas theme instantly came to mind when I read the thread title. THIS is one of the best examples EVER of how to do a villains theme. I rank it higher than pretty much any other villain theme in history. This leitmotif perfectly captures the insanity, destructive nature, and down right horrifying yet glorious essence that is Kefka. It still sends shivers down my spine and perfectly captures his progression from an annoying buffoon, to the nihilistic and maniacal all powerful threat he becomes.

Oh and I can't forget the Orchestrated version. It's a little different, but still the same vibe overall. It will sends shivers down your spine, and instill real fear.

Magus' theme from Chrono Trigger is another instant classic. The dark and foreboding nature along with the epic and menacing follow up is really effective. And the Celtic vibe goes well with the setting and 'dark wizard' motif.
