What is your favorite Dreamworks movie?

Easily Shrek for me. It could because when my Dad took me to see at the cinemas for the first time I didn't know any thing about it and got a great surprise from the excellent parodies.
It really does stand out compared to the others though. Unlike most of their latest movies, it didn't have childish jokes poisoning the characters, no it had clever ones most of us remember. Also, I reckon it had the most memorable scenes out of the lot. From start to finish, most scenes are really well done and fun. The ending wasn't as good I reckon but still good.

Can I vote for the earliest (and personally) and best Dreamworks movie which is Antz?
It's better than Pixar's attempt, A Bug's Life (Kurosawa inspired or not, it's really not that good).
No one seems to credit it, but it's a very good movie, and with maybe the exception of either Shrek or Shrek 2 (I haven't seen How to Train Your Dragon yet, and I hear that is fantastic), There is very little I actually like from Dreamworks (I don't directly reference their Hand drawn animation department but Prince of Egypt is also a very good movie).

He makes the movie for me. Pretty much HE is the movie, hell I'd watch an entire movie about him and him alone.Miss Layton said:

I've got to get around to reading those, though a lot of people I know that's read them just throw the movie into a different set of canon and just enjoy both. As is it is, I can't really blame you for that, since I've this bad habit of disliking movies because they stray too far from the book/it's original intent.SL33TBL1ND said:

Maybe it's because I'm a massive atheist, but I don't really get the appeal of it.
OT: The first two Shreks get my vote, with the first being the best.
I just checked a list to make sure I wasn't unintentionally forgetting something, and it turns out the only Dreamworks movie I ever saw was Shrek and I thought it was awful. Also, Dreamworks 3d character faces are creepy as hell.

How to Train your Dragon with Road to El Dorado and Prince of Egypt tying for a close second.
Dragon takes first place because it didn't have that same "Trying to emulate the Disney formula." feel to it. And was the only CG film of theirs that comes to mind that didn't end with a Dreamworks dance party.

Kung Fu Panda and Kung Fu Panda 2. Those are my top ones, and I cant wait for the third (there will be a third, right? What with that bonus ending and Tigress and Poe's maybe-romance?). I own a lot of their movies though because they make good movies, but the Kung Fu Panda series is my favorite.
