I'm talking about of the Japanese persuasion. Games like Final Fantasy Tactics, Fire Emblem, Valkyria Chronicles, Front Mission (sans Evolved), Growlanser, Tactics Ogre, Disgaea, et cetera. What is your favorite and why?

What?

Using the right weapon and armour set for the job requires tactics. Not getting your face ripped off by a Rathalos requires a knowledge of their movement and attack patterns, being fully aware of your own position on the battlefield and that of your comrades, as well as knowing when it's safe to consume potions or sharpen your weapon.

Very familiar to the way two swordsmen duel.

Except, you know, one of them is a dragon.
