Honestly in terms of cards I own:

Simply because it's a powerhouse and my deck focuses around its summoning and support of it and its counterparts

I absolutely love its effect
Number 107: Galaxy Eyes Tachyon Dragon

Card Text: 2 Level 8 monsters
Once per Battle Phase, at the start of your Battle Phase: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; negate the effects of all other face-up monsters on the field, and their ATK and DEF become their original ATK and DEF. During your Battle Phase, if this effect was used this turn and your opponent activates a card effect: This card gains 1000 ATK until the end of the Battle Phase, also it can attack twice during each Battle Phase this turn

I haven't played in years, but my fave cards when I did play were:

Managing to acquire three of these guys was one of the greatest achievements of my ten-year-old self's life.

A classic. No further explanation needed.

I won this card from a guy on the playground in a totally against-the-rules instance of dorky pre-teen gambling/playing for ante/whatever. We played after school in the tennis court, and there were like 20 other kids there watching. I felt so cool after I won, especially since we would have been in SO MUCH TROUBLE if the teachers had found out.

I played the game a little a long time ago so I dunno anything about the cards or game now but I use to run an enhancement deck, I basically just souped up my monsters with equipped weapons and stuff. This was my favorite card.

Sword of Deep-Seated

This was my favorite monster card

My favorite trap? Torrential Tribute. I was playing a match against a friend of mine who tried to copy my dragon deck, and he pulls off the most unlikely bullshit move imaginable and maganges to get a Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon and Five-Headed Dragon out in the same turn. He then summons Luster Dragon... and bye bye monsters :)

My favorite spell... hmm... Flute of Summoning Dragon. It and Lord of D are a combo I just LOVE to abuse the hell out of. Because the only thing uglier than two Lord of D's on an open field, is that plus three blue-eyes that you had in your hand.

My favorite monster... probably Gora Turtle. It's a very good early-game card.

I dont really remember any trap or spell cards, but as for the monsters, I do like Time wizard, Sea koala, and some weird hybrid of a koala and kangaroo. Time wizard I always felt was interesting, and the other two were just too surreal to ignore.

[Fire Monster which gained 1000 ATK per turn, and attacked LP directly. I can't remember its name. Someone help!]
I think you are talking about the Raging Flame Sprite.
I remember there was a structure deck that I bought that was fire themed which had these cards. RFS was one of my all time favourites. With some protection you soon had a powerful monster that completely bypasses all your opponents monsters. I made many people hate this card.
Thanks, dude. :D

I, unfortunately, didn't put all these cards together until well after I'd gotten out of the Yu-Gi-Oh! scene. Not that I had many people to duel, anyway. Would've been really nice to use.

I've always loved the Elemental Hero monsters.

So much nostalgia with this card. I have a deck that revolves around it that works surprisingly well.

Simple, yet it has so many uses. I fit it into any deck I build.

I run a Dark World deck, which involves this card in the build, I just love its effect. He's a good discard outlet, gains 500 attack boost making him 2000, 2300 if there's a The Gates of Dark World on the field, and he returns a banished dark monster to my hand when he dies.

Like I said before I play Dark Worlds which get along with this card like a house on fire, also it's brilliant droping this on an Exodia player.

I don't actually run this card in my deck, because that would be silly. The reason I like this is because of a simple first turn kill combo I'll post the deck list below using a picture from my Dueling Network account.

Play royal magical libary, after that just drop spells building up counters, (max 3) use toon table of contents, and thunder dragon to thin out the deck, repeat untill you have 30 cards or more in your grave, except for the three trap cards, it's vital that you set them.
Now here's the fun part your opponent should have 11000 life points after you play your three upstart golbins, it is important to do this. So once your opponent's turn begins and in response to their draw, activate the traps in the following order.
1Wall of revealing light, pay 7000 life points
2.Life Equalizer, bringing both players to 3000 life points
3. Finish him/her with Blasting the ruins.
4. And that's why Blasting the ruins is my favourite trap card, also I call it the troll ftk for a reason.

My favorite monster is odd, it's Jinzo (the cyborg that destroys traps)
favorite trap is Mirror Force and favorite magic is Mystic Typhoon.
I'm going of the DS games which is the only way I could play the game.

Lets see

This card takes the spot of my favourite for the sheer trolling potential of it. Opponent just summoned his best card? Activate special and ruin his day!

Again for the troll potential. This could very easily be used to either end the duel or throw up huge problems for your opponent. Yes the negative effects were bad, but I got into the habit of summoning a monster like dark dust spirit which cleared the field effectively being the cheapest form of a "fuck you" victory I had.

Ah Just Desserts, my early decks focused on a solid defence while I took potshots at someone life points with magic, traps and special effects. Just Desserts was the peak of that for me,

&

The first has already been mentioned for the cheapest possible victory ever and the second was just brilliant for screwing over the people who stacked their decks with a lot of the same card.

I mostly just call it the wrong name: Giga Gagaigago.
Cool. I run an Alien/Reptile deck and this guy is really useful.

I'm actually waiting for a card I ordered to add to the Extra Deck.

Another mosnter card i liked was this:
I loved its high defense stat.

I found this spell card realy cool:
I never got my hands on it but one of my friends had it.

Favorite monster has to go to this guy
Monster

Almost near hard to summon, but once it is on the field it's practically a negate all except Counter Traps and gets to attack more than once depending on how many synchro monsters it took to summon him and if your opponent manages to get rid of it somehow. Guess what?

you get to bring him out!

More manageable to summon
Great comeback card if your opponent his handing you a butt kicking while barely breaking a sweat. A monster with around 4000 ATK.....problem, for your opponent.
Magic
Why not?
Trap
THE negate-all card. Yes it may cost you half your LP but if played right the risk was sooooo worth it.
