What is your favourite robot?

Simply put: what is your favourite robot in pop-culture, large, small, pilotable, self-aware, whatever.

For me, it's probably a tie between Lord Canti from FLCL and Marvin from Hitchhiker's guide

For live-action: The original Marvin the Paranoid Android from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (I don't like the new film, doesn't seem anywhere near as good when compared to the BBC one >.>)
And animé: Probably Chii, from Chobits.

It's tough not to go with R2D2. The apparently foul-mouthed beeper was always there when you needed humour in the Star Wars series, though I liked him a lot less in the new ones.

Marvin! He's got the greatest attitude towards everything, he just makes me smile. My favourite robot is probably K9 though. So much awesomeness. And so clever too.
